PS4 stuttering again after TG Patch

This was a problem when the game launched last year and it was later fixed by a patch. ESO was running buttery smooth until today after the Thieves Guild patch. Going inside big towns with lots of players is a nightmare now. The game is stuttering a lot, little hippcups when you walk. Please, fix this. It's like we are playing at a constant 10fps sometimes.

Same here, Game froze and crashed 3 times in wayrest. Very bad stuttering / framerate drops, it's a total slide show man. I got the credit card out ready to buy a 5500 crown package today for the dlc and some other stuff but after downloading this, NO WAY, I can't even play at all now because I can't get out of WAYREST!

I think traffic is going to be high since the DLC dropped on PlayStation 4 and Xbox 1 I think it is to be expected. Even if the servers were prepped for it there still is the players end due to having so many players on screen.

I've endured significant FPS drops on PS4 in towns and certain zones as well with the launch of Thieve's Guild. Crashed 4 times today. Two of them back to back!

It is not lag though. It is FPS drops when you get to a town. It is like the PS4 is struggling to run ESO. It was like this when the game released last year but it was quickly fixed by a patch.

No it's lag, last week it was already getting worse. Was in Wrothgar and the lack was absurd.
PvP lags almost always, even on servers with low population. But in PvE I experience lag from time to time, I guess it has to do with the servers because it's not always noticable or equally bad.

I noticed some really strong Framedrops too. In some towns the framerate goes extrem low. We need a fix here. I think this has nothing to do with lag.

Agreed the framerate is dropping to the point that it's causing the crashing, before the patch the game was fine. Please ZOS pay attention to what your customers are telling you.

Does anyone know if this stuttering affect destruction staff spell weaving? Spell weaving doesn't seem to work as well as before the update. I mean the animation for a medium attack is there but sometimes, nothing comes out of my staff.

It's broken in 50 different ways just like on pc. I fell through the bottom of Cyrodiil and started swimming and meteors tractor beam you back to them. Not to mention zipping back and forth and the crashes

I've had samething happen, were textures disappeared and I fell through the ground in Cyrodiil.

I've been having the same problem. Like the OP said it's the same kind of thing that was present at launch and was fixed in a patch. Please fix it ASAP; it ruins the game.

Just got a connection timeout error 303,

it started off with attacks not registering and AI enemies not moving, then i was suddenly killed by a stream of attacks that i didn't even see because of the lag, couldn't even revive until i logged back into the game and even then i still had to go through the revive annimation.

fix your EU servers ZOS!!, daggerfall is currently an intermittent lag fest (like every ~10-20 sec).

Having the same problems, but its on both consoles. Seems like zos just copied the pc patch and "ported" it to the console version.

Also the black character models are back, takes like 5 mins until other players are fully visible

It might also help if big groups of players in heavy traffic areas would stop spamming abilities /heals and such..
They greatly increase the LAG !

Having the same issues, getting frame drops when just exploring the world with nobody else around. I'm only back after not playing for about 5-6 months, how long has this being going on?. Kinda annoyed i spent the time downloading this again if it's not even going to run properly, not having a fun experience at all at the moment.

It just started happening again on the latest patch. I'm sure it will get sorted out on the next.

Shame it didn't. 500MB patch just came out and it's just as stuttery and frame-dropping as before, perhaps even worse. Terrible.

Also stuttering here. I thought it may just be Anvil because everyone is there all at once, but sure enough it's prevalent across all of the Gold Coast for me.

Yep, absolutely awful in towns and pretty bad anywhere else, c'mon Zos, you keep reintroducing the same bugs over and over and over.

I thought it was just the Gold Coast as well but I was in Deshaan and still had the same issue. I actually crashed out with the error code CE-34878-0. Frustrating.

They will probably get better at patching it every time

The console version of this game is a train wreck.
I'm guessing it will prove un-fixable.
Each patch just makes the game worse.
