I 100% agree! I have sent in several tickets only to be given a laundry list of things to do that have 0 to do with the issue. I have programmed in every port they gave me. I have done every step up to including reinstall... nothing!
I also get no sense of importance on fixing the issue. I even sent in my console ID so they can pull crash logs. However they are amazing at pretending this is not an issue
you'd be surprised how often the copy paste stuff actually fixes the issues of the ignorant (not meant as an offensive term)
I don't think they're trying to pretend there aren't issues, they simply want to factor out common stuff that causes problems before they take more detailed account of your specific problem
as a customer, it can be infuriating when you know it isn't because the router needs to be power cycled or you already reset your whole network before calling, but that's the deal
