*** please, my DK melts giants in half that time. But wow my Sorc overloads hit for 34k, my NB impale the same, but hey my endless hail ticks hit 8k+, weave attack like 15k with sup attack 14k so add it all up for that particular one seconds of attack and guess what that's. ..37k in an instant...but you know what...that's not your bragging right for high dps. .. melt bloodspawn in 60s and then come back telling us you got that high dps.

That's on regular mobs

DPS matters the most on Dungeon bosses and Trials (hence the Bloodspawn comment)

And yeah, Mag DKs can get much higher than 25k. I score about 27-29k on avg in Dungeons and 30k+ in Trials with mine (and he's not fully optimized yet )

do you have a stam dk as well? if so, what's your dps and rotation.

I was testing my new stam dk on the same trash mob, could not even break 20k.

Using 5 hundings, 2 Spawn of Mephalas and 3 agility jewels and 2 maelstrom weapons.

I started with hail then bar swap. fully charged heavy, rapid strike, Venomous Claws, rapid strike, Rending Slashes, rapid strike

I tried so many times on that trash mobs, could not break 20k.....

what am i doing wrong.

btw, if i just weaving my rapid strikes, i only get 12-14k....

You forgot a couple things

1) Bow Posion Injection DoT
2) DK Venomous Breath DoT - I actually don't know if this one is optimal to run, but I use it and do okay xD
3) Uhh fighter's guild I think...the Trap Beast. IIRC the best morph is rearming trap.

I don't use Mephala's so I dunno it's effectiveness, but my rotation is...
Poison Injection -> Hail -> Trap -> Venomous Claws -> Rending Slashes -> The venom breath thingy -> Rapid Strike with medium weave until one of thte DoTs needs to be refreshed. Don't forget you can block cancel some of those.

should never use poison inject before 50% its a dps loss

DPS counts do my head in I pull 24.5k on wrecking blow 15K on surprise attack and about the same on ambush and a few k on endless hail. I just hit things till they die.
