both my 32 and 64 bit clients are making weird sounds once my characters login to the game, in and outside cyrodill, basicly in every location, like we had before DB, all those sounds, and even more worse and louder, non stop... pls halp, alot of ppl suffer from this issue, its destroying our poor audiocards.. look into it please or give some information if the problem is already known..

The sound bug has been present in the 64-bit client since it was released with the TG update. Maybe Zos is unifying the sound code, but that bug seems to have crept into the 32-bit client now as well. Not to mention the total-silence bug they introduced with the DB.

Since the bug you mention has been present in the 64-bit client with no fix from Zos in, what, 3+ months now? I wouldn't hold my breath for a fix any time in the near future. All you can do it bug report it and keep playing the 32-bit client.

Something not mentioned in the latest patch notes, but the updated launcher can now start the 64-bit client. So make sure when you say 32-bit, that you are really running the 32-bit client.. because you might think that you're starting the 32-bit client when you use the launcher while it's set to execute the eso64.exe binary. It's in the launcher's preference where you can select this.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom might be a good idea to mention in the last patch notes that the updated launcher can/will start the 64 bit client.

Absolutely no problems here, whatsoever. Except, once dead, death-music is playing non stop in the Imperial City. :-/

It would have been better, if they actually gave an option the very first time you start Launcher to pick which version you would want to run as default. That way most people would be aware about this option and where to find it.

Creating a shortcut on desktop or a pin to start in windows for each version would also help to find where to go for x64 or x32.

So far I haven't noticed any direct problems with audio on 32-bit client before Monday's patch, but after starting make use of 64-bit client (after patch 2.4.8) I suddenly loose sound or my windows audio driver crashes (which also leads to game will crash). This happens on Windows 10 OS build 10586.420. Audio driver: Realtek ALC 1150 version: 6.0.1.7535.
