What class is right for me? (Pvp)

Tidalwaves
I really wanna start getting into the pvp in this game but the classes I choose are so frail. I wanna be on the front lines and one of the first charging in during seiges. What do I do?

Any class can be on the "front lines, charging in" but how quickly you're killed is determined entirely on you and your playstyle.

Based on your description with no other information, it sounds like you're describing wanting to be a tank of sorts, so maybe look into a Dragon Knight or Templar class. But you should really just play whatever you enjoy playing, that gives you the most fun. Perhaps you don't need a class change but a better build on your current character, what are you running with right now?

    Stamina templar.

Stamina Templar can be great on the front lines of combat in PvP. But like all things, what is gate keeping you out of doing what you want to do is a bunch of L2P. Not saying you aren't capable OP, everyone has the ability to unlock their full potential, but I guess what I am trying to say is we need to know more about what you want to do-- such as your playstyle. So ask us questions pertaining to getting into the enemies face in large scale combat. Things like; gear choices, how you think about approaching an enemy in combat, making good decisions, being hyper aggressive, spacial awareness, things like that.

I got plenty of expertise in engaging in fights and I'm still L2P there, but it is tailored to StamNB. I could give you some pointers based off of what you want to accomplish in these fights. Though as a StamTemp your biggest challenge, and this is for every templar not just you, is learning to break LoS, and learning to not die while doing 1vX which includes learning how to run away when its too much.

Some info, like what you're current gear/weapons are and what your ability bars currently look like might help better understand what you're doing as of now that makes you feel frail. I'm by no means a master of PVP, but it is 90% what I do in eso. and like Takes-No-Prisoner, I havnt built a stam templar, but I've fought plenty, and will pass on any and all advise I can. In the mean time here's just some general advise that I hope helps.

I wont presume to know how long you've been PVPing, but lesson 1 to everyone should be "Keep calm". It's easy to get excited/anxious when PVPing, and dying adds anger to that, all of which makes you make mistakes and gets you killed. Keeping calm will allow you to make every move count. It'll also mean less times you rush in to try and get the last hit. "Know when to hold 'em and when you fold 'em" as they say.

Charging the front lines and leading the charge on the frontlines, can be 2 VASTLY different things. just charging in is going to get you killed. There's no shame in hanging back to survey the battle a bit before moving in, or making sure not to go in alone, and grouping up, having 1 or 2 people pop barrier and then move in.

Dying on the field is frustrating but it's also the most valuable thing to have. It can show you where a weakness in your build is, or teach you an enemy tactic that you can then lookout for later. The Yellows once let us take a keep, and had 20+ people in stealth in a single corner, all waiting. you see 1 or 2 and think they're NB gankers just hiding till the rest flood out and completely wipe you... from then on you know to check every corner. Just use every death as a lesson tho, try and learn from it, and if it's causing frequent deaths you can look into specifically avoiding that death, by just adding on a skill like, revealing flare to find a hidden enemy.

You can't kill anyone if you're dead. Know when to run away. Don't wait till you're totally out of resources to make the escape, see that they're getting low and start to move back or retreat altogether.
