    Same issue. Nothing downloads and get the "Invalid client" error when I try to login.

    On the login screen, the patch number is 2.4.7.
    You're waiting for 2.4.8.
    It's not yet downloaded.

    could you not talking off your arse? Patcher is still not working, checking for updates just brings back Play button.

    And anyways, restarted launcher, then it started auto donwnloading, I never said anything remotely concerning checking for updates

    There is no patch, only a client update.
    You will have the same problem as everyone else.

    I come from other gaming genres on PC, and any update of any kind was termed a patch, a client update is basically that, a patch.

    Have to agree, just noticed after update the launcher is indeed bugged, fair play to you sir.

    yeah cause client is not up to date, only the launcher was updated but patch is missing in action :-(

    It just begs a question why to bring servers up without the patch ready to download, doesn't it...

    Is this problem only for EU or for NA also?
    I am EU and having the problem.
    to be specific, I did not get an update from patch, just play and it say`s i am running outdated version !

    Thats my problem.
    Please be more specific with your problem. some people claim to even have downloaded the patch, while some other`s cant even update...

    specific problem: launcher updated, client version not -> login not possible due to old client version

    same here...
    out-dated version that crashes upon accepted the out-dated client window, and launcher doesn't do anything.

    I am on the NA server. Almost everyone else in TeamSpeak was able to properly patch, while others had to restart their computers. I have done all I could think of (including restarting launcher, repairing, restarting computer). I am still unable to log in.

    now downloading a 460MB patch
    btw, what client should we use? is the 64bit now reliable?

    Open launcher, go to options setting , remove "always" from autoupdate, then restart the launcher, then do a serach for updates, it will start updating.
    Worked for me

    kk thats was 10min of a really high heartbeat frequency, everything fine again, pulse down to 60... puh that was close to armargeddon....

    64bit client is light years better performing than 32bit one and yes it is reliable now, the only thing that left to fix is fps drop with time due to memory leak but I never looked back.

    Just had a look through the Launcher settings, I now see there is a tick box to launch the 64bit client.

    This is good.

    Maybe it was part of this launcher update or if its been there for a while I've not noticed any mention in previous patch notes.
