More people you sure about that? The majority of people who think beam is fine are people like you who play one character and use breath of life or beam, thats it..

Yes. I am sure about that. I have read every single thread about Radiant and the majority of posters have supported it as is. The only ones that haven't, are people like yourself, who keep posting the same stuff..over and over and over.

By they way...I guess you must not play a Magicka Templar, or have little experience playing one. I play both as a healer and a dps in pvp, mostly heals though. I use every single one of my skills on my bars. And I honestly wish I could use more. So please keep from making judgements that we Templars spam only 2 skills. It's childish and makes you seem uneducated.
Perhaps you don't read too much but they changed battle spirit affecting the malubeth proc + 30% bonus, thats why it's very strong at the moment, there is bugs as well, it's dipping into too many cp stars and it's not mean't too. Zos acknowledge there are bugs.

But hey i suppose according to your logic no one should of said anything and the bugs should of just stayed in place, people should ignore the 15k heal proc's its giving off? The more i read your comments the more i'm convinced your a malubeth heal bot templar.

As @SwaminoNowlino said, the bug with Maluabeth is that it is "double dipping crit". It has nothing to do with battle spirit at this point. So we will have to wait and see if someone can prove that it's bypassing battlespirit. So quit saying that it is when you have absolutely zero proof of it happening now.

I never even thought of using this set before, but I was told by a friend that it was really good for magicka templar, which I play mostly, so I decided to try it out for fun. I am usually pretty tanky anyway, but with this set I felt almost invincible and so yes, I would say it is rather over the top tbh lol  I won't miss it though, if it does get fixed, as I never really used it in the first place, so nvm

Insupport rd. all my characters are stam, except for my stamblade I turnes magica to play around with in maelstrom. I think it's exactly perfect.

Personally, I don't think the skill is too strong, just that other executes are too weak..

my main is stamplar, I've got no in-class stamina execute, so I don't really use one. poison injection is great, more for pve I think, or getting weak gankers to leave tou alone. Executioner is way too weak, should hit much harder or give some bonus/regen/ult or whatever so that it makes up for the dps loss. What's the other one? Oh right, the resource pig that is steel tornado. I guess the cost fits as its a group execute.

Thing is, jesus beam only stands out because it's the only GOOD execute that's class based.

    As always happening on forum.

Isn't it obvious that Malubeth is working as intended and absolutely non-exploitable set?

    Good God... /facepalm
Are we even sure the double dipping into crit is the only thing wrong with this?
Because the 10k numbers on the left are NOT crits...

    It ain't broken.
This thing keeps draining your life and the beam stays put even *after* the bloke wearing it is killed.

Scourge Harvester: Fixed an issue where the heal from this item set’s proc was being reduced by Battle Spirit; healing based on damage done will no longer be double-penalized by Battle Spirit."

This line is part of the PTS 2.4.0 patch and somewhat made my jaws drop.
Anyone into small scale PvP already knows about the power malubeth has with its 30% healing buff, which is basically up 100% off the time in outnumbered situations/ when being hit with fast attacks or a few DoTs (primarily flurry).
Now they buffed the healing the set does on top of that, even though the set would even be perfectly viable without it.

However, this is just where the fun starts. Just take a look at this screenshot:

Note, it was lucky i was able to get a screenshot off this happening, it seems very hard to reproduce, but in actual combat szenarios i had this happen quite frequently.
obviously, this is especially annyoing when the malubeth user is just about to get killed only to get saved by the bugged procc.

Edit: trying to figure out how attaching screenshots works after i already made multiple threads with it working ...
To summarize it, it showed a 0:04 secs combat log with malubeth healing myself for 10k HPs.

I guess this will have to do.

I killed lot of people that were wearing this set, and I was killed by others that did not wear it while I did.
Did not look so op to me...

OK, I did not know that the heal is based off the dmg you take, but isn't that a good design for people who are outnumbered?

I don't mind a nerf to this set, but it's just funny that people asked me a few months ago why I'm using this useless set. It's also funny that I see the most complaining about Malubeth from people who play fotm classes or axeploited the hell out of me back in the days then axes were broken.

It also helps classes that don't have a purge. I've never lost a duel to a Stamdk or Templar because of Malubeth. In fact, it is harder to fight them if they use a damage set instead of Malubeth, because they can outheal my damage without Malubeth, while I can't outheal stacked dots.

If the set is buggy, then of course fix it, everyone is fine with that. But if you overnerf it then please give every class access to major mending OR to a purge (and no, the alliance war skill is not a purge for stambuilds. Just saying this to prevent this post from trolls).
I used to think that PvP was a tragedy, but now I realize, it's a comedy.

I tried the set based on the forum rage, and I must be missing the issue? It didn't seem like it proc'd a ton.

If anything, the Engine guardian seems to proc way more than the tool tip says.

@Tan9oSuccka Some things trigger the proc more than others. It supposedly has a 6% chance when you take damage. So something like jabs/sweeps will set it off more often than Crystal Frags I imagine. Flurry, Hurricane/Lightning Form, or something like Wall of Elements I suspect will also lead it to proc like crazy. I don't wear the set and have only participated in PVP for about an hour this patch, but I did notice my Stamplar's Jabs were causing it to proc like crazy compared to some other skills.
