Why is there no maintenance for console?

I understand it's almost been a week since DB however there are so many things wrong, my friends have characters stuck dungeon mobs don't appear, weapon switching is bugged, critical rush is bugged etc.

My guess is they want to see if this latest fix works on PC first, primarily the dungeon finder which has received 3 updates so far, all of which has been rolled into the console patch. If this fix works, it may get added next week or you'll get whatever next works for them.

Right now this game is the most broken as it's been since console release, it's just sad these issues have not been addressed. Not to mention the current state of PvP :'(

Every time they push something on consoles, it has to be approved by Sony and Microsoft and costs ZO$ money. That's why they don't do weekly maintenance and patches.

I thought that was general knowledge....

I do not know the routine between Sony Microsoft and ZoS I apologize for not knowing this.

They NEED to have an apologetic service announcement at the very least. This is the worst shape I've EVER seen the game in and I been here since beta. I am NOT exaggerating! I'm on Xbox now and I'm so totally disappointed with this company. I've NEVER been unable, entirely, to access a character..... That is ridiculous.. The crashes are so frequent it causes even the most patient of people to become infuriated. And still not a damn peep from the Devs other than "BUY OUR NEW DLC BUY OUR NEW DLC" even tho their new doc IS, for the most part, completely unplayable! Thanks ZOS, your doing great.....

To be honest, beta was way worst than this.

Not trying to have a go at anyone but neither of these has a great deal to do with here and now and how these issues are affecting us, the consumers.

As someone who works with software development and testing, I believe that as soon as they knew that there were unresolved issues regarding major features of the software still affecting the PC version, the console releases should have been delayed.

From what I have read on the forums, there were a lot of people who were not happy with what was on PTS before it went to PC in the first place but it appears that sticking to a delivery schedule is far more important than delivering a solid product.
