Solo way rest sewers help

So I've had no issues soloing other dungeons on my sorceror while leveling. I'm using dw/shield (though recently tried out 2h to some decent effect) with a stamina build and heavy armor.
The part in getting stuck on is the necromancer boss, inquisitor garron or whatever his name is. My clannfear won't hold aggro, I constantly get knocked down by his magic bolts, abs he summons that cloud to chase me around that completely wrecks me if I stop moving. I just can't seem to keep any damage on the boss, and surge doesn't heal effectively when I can't stay in melee range for hurricane and blade cloak to proc it.
Any advice?

Stack more magicka so your shield is big enough to last through the knockdowns. I've done this one plenty of times, so I know it can be done. Soloing the Ratmaster (or whatever his name is) is harder, in my opinion, but you need a fat Ward for that one, too.#CAREBEARMASTERRACE0 -

Stack more magicka so your shield is big enough to last through the knockdowns. I've done this one plenty of times, so I know it can be done. Soloing the Ratmaster (or whatever his name is) is harder, in my opinion, but you need a fat Ward for that one, too.
EDIT: Never mind, I just noticed you said you were stamina. I'll be amazed if this can be done with a stamina build!#CAREBEARMASTERRACE0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Do you have the defensive stance reflect ability from sword and board? That might help with the magic bolts. After that, I agree with the other posters in having some sort of ward up at all times.
Soloing dungeons that are meant for a four player group seems like a waste of time in my opinion. All the times dying in the dungeon prolong it to three or four times in length (maybe more) versus doing it with a group ... all for the same rewards. I'd rather do something else in that time.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Unfortunately I don't have reflect yet, guess I'll try again when I have it.
So far I've done all of the first 6 dungeons except the sewers, and usually only die once or twice per dungeon. I've v found it a good way to grind xp on the new character with the experience trait gear now. Stam sorc is incredibly powerful solo from what I've seen so far.

it aint that hard. ratmaster I just aoe stacked and dodgerolled his comets. Then guy right after that I just dodgerolled. endless hail/poison injection and heavy attacks. boss after that is same as last boss. Just use a dps rotation you can sustain and block charge attacks.
