Thieves Guild Additions

The Thieves Guild skill line should also add a passive called 'Hidden Pockets'. There would be 4 levels. The first allows the player to stash (on their person) up to three stolen items. Once they reach level 4 of the skill, the player will be able to keep up to twelve stolen items even after being stopped by a guard and paying a bounty. The skill will also allow the player to lock those twelve items they don't want taken from them.

Or you could just, you know, not get caught? And if you do you have Clemency and Edicts. Getting caught multiple times means you fail as a Thief.

Is it necessary to be a poison to forums? There is nothing wrong with the idea, and can certainly be helpful, and added on the second DLC of Thieve's Guild. Yet here you are, true to rectum form saying something completely unnecessary.

It's not unneccesary, it's true. We have more than enough of a free pass. Players don't need further crutches for making constant mistakes, otherwise they don't learn from them.

Sorry for your obvious losses which led you to making this thread no doubt but that's virtual life.

The same could have been said about Clemency before it was added, but you don't see anyone opposing that idea. So while you're looking for more difficulty, there are some that can appreciate the convenience of an appropriate passive. I also did suggest for a future add-on, so the likely hood that Zen will also include a counter is possible. I offer ideas just like everyone else, but it's not my job to flesh it out unless someone official asks me for details. Your sarcastic comment still stands as unnecessary, but no worries, I'll just give as good as I get.

We just disagree, and I'll leave it at that.

What makes you think I was being sarcastic?

I'll answer your question, but it's really no biggie anymore. It was you typing, "Or you could just, you know, not get caught?" I, too, am very good at thieving, but this one time on a character I haven't played on in a while ... I forgot I had stolen goods on him and wanted to turn them in. I saw something along the way that motivated me to get one more thing, and as it would happen I get seen after a looooong time of never getting caught. As a result I run, only to have the door icon not show, so I can leave; and of course I die. My edict was among the things that were taken. Plus I had no Clemency yet. Just my Legerdemain.

So I thought how cool it would be if I could have hid some of my stuff. That's all.

I was being somewhat coy lol but I understand and yeah it always sucks to have a bad day. That's why I exercise extreme caution in buildings with Guards present because outside I can escape easily enough.

Yeah, that's exactly what happened; I broke my rule. Always have an escape route, first.

Although I get caught way too often :disappointed: and I have to run or pay the bounty and I would use your idea, I have to agree with the previous comments! Stealing is bad, stealing is wrong

I'm new to the game but I have already played through the thieves guild and I have to say that guards are really good at their job haha. In skyrim I would literally steal everything and nobody would realise. I think ESO makes it more difficult to steal items and although I hate getting caught I think it is good as it is ^^
