ZOS, Please make this game a true MMO. (Edit)

I have spent time and money on your game. I still love this game but many features are still not present or implemented in this game like other MMO's especially thus game "final fantasy xiv ARR".

Please, dev's see/learn more from this game Final fantasy xiv ARR and make it more of a 18+ game to your audience.

Lastly, please support mods! that's what Bethesda games, where famous/known for.

Thanks all for the information, you guys/gals have given! but I didn't give proper/ make it clear about my wish list that ESO should have like other MMO have it already.( hence the word "true" MMO)
But with this article, I have understood that ZOS will be going in to that direction as in what the article states.

These are the list, what I really wanted ESO to have like in FFxiv ARR and other MMO games have already!

-FFxiv arr as unique guild system( mobile app and web browser , player can view their guild mates info any time )----this, I really want!✔

- View other players gear.
- good graphics.
- character/gear detail models,✔
- auto idle emotes.
-No, forced class,race and faction. ( not everyone likes to make an alternate character)✔
- Very good story content.✔
- More additional races, classes and unique gears.✔
- flying mounts. ( at least in the new PvE areas like Vvardenfell.)

These features will make ESO more attractive. Please, implement this! ZOS!

too late, eso has been manipulated by the amount of new players and gain they've worked for, but now is taking the path of what bad companys do. "care for money, *** the community"

I dont know why they care so much about the new players, I mean how much does a key for ESO cost now? 6USD? You go to a starting zone, full of players, go to the 20-30 Zone? Crickets. People aren't sticking around - probably why they announced they thought the majority of players play for a week of two at a time, then go away - yeah, they dont come back though.

Different stroke I guess, I just find FFXIV to be sort of lifeless and hollow and the combat really boring. I know folks enjoy it but some folks dig Sailor moon too just not my cup of tea. maybe we each have our own game they are just different games.

Anyway enjoy ARR, stop by from time to time.

We'd probably have to start paying a monthly fee. I'd be okay with this, its another bill to pay. but quality I guess. Only those that play for a couple weeks and quit would truly protest that change >.> But at least with monthly income from all their players zenimax would be alot more dedicated to giving us a more playable game. going b2p was their biggest ki=mistake.

I always felt any payment model that isnt a sub makes for an inherently flawed MMO. That doesnt mean a sub automatically guarantees a great game but going with anything else makes the devs focus on 'how do we make people buy stuff from the shop' instead of 'how do we make a game people keep playing'. Id much rather devs ask the second question when designing my MMO.

Out of curiosity... how far did you get in FFX ARR before realizing you didn't like it?

If anything ESO needs to be more like a true TES game, not more like an average MMORPG. If I wanted a standard MMORPG, I'd be playing WoW, EQ2 or something like it.

Needs to be a balance between keeping the Elder Scrolls fans happy and the MMO fans happy. This game will never be and shouldn't be purely one or the other. Personally I enjoy that it appeals to both sets of fans.

be more specific. MMOs have always supported casual gameplay. take runescape for example. they had crafting guilds where people would level up slow prestigous skills few had and just bs. Where the 'hardcore' players would do pvp or raids. This game lacks casual gameplay options and is 100% combat prientated. so catering to 'casuals' only means 1 thing. Maybe when player housing and the like comes out, there will be more to casual eso gameplay than quests. combat/everything else should be separated. I shouldnt get 200 skyshards handed to me cuz I'd rather run wgt.

Apparently you missed this article from game director Matt Firor. In it he stated, "Again, we’re not really a traditional MMO, we are much more of a hybrid, kind of like an ‘online RPG’. The term MMO is freighted with a lot of pre-conceived notions, most of which are outdated and obsolete."

Odd, FFXIV is probably the only MMO that could steal me from ESO, but, it isn't available on Xbox. I played on PC and loved it, but all my friends are console players, and only on Xbox =/

Please continue to develop ESO as ESO. If I wanted it to be WoW, FFXIV, BDO or some other game that it isn't I would play that game instead.

FF is a fun game but I do not want all the games I play to be clones of each other.

As a side note, all the loading screens in FFXIV ARR drive me batty.

I played FFXIV:ARR for a long time, had multiple high lvled classes, raided, ect ect. and honestly I prefer ESO, yeah FFXIV is fun, but its tab target rotational combat got boring, fast, as did the rinse and repeat mechanics that came out with heavensward that was a big part of why my husband and I quit. Housing is a nightmare, they never remove housing of players, even ones who had been gone for years. And bots where everywhere, my guild used to play 'find the hiding bots' because there was so many tucked in various spots spamming the chat. The story was good, and the multi-class system was great, console and pc being on the same servers was cool, there's things I miss.

At their base these games were too far apart from the beginning to really take much from one another. Also have to remember that FFXIV is still a pay to play game, and is older than ESO, which dropped the pay to play model for the buy to play one (yeah for the first year ESO was pay to play people seem to forget/not know that a lot) so overall FFXIV has more money and wiggleroom to do their stuff.

I'm sure there's some things that ESO could take from FFXIV:ARR but not much
