Is Overload Light Attack supposed to hit this hard

So I was in pvp and got hit by two consecutive Overload Light Attacks and died. The first hit for 11k Non-Crit and the second hit for 15k Crit. Just wondering if this ability is supposed to hit so hard.

Mine crit for 33k in pve so yes. Twice born and Kena user for sure.

Yes, it is meant to hit hard, actually, those hits you took from it are not that high. Before people start complaining about it being too overpowered, please remember Overload attacks can be dodged, reflected or blocked and that sorcerers, while in overload mode, don't have access to any weapon skills. Since sorcerers don't have a spammable of their own, they don't have any other source of damage in overload besides class DoTs and crystal Fragment procs.

sorcs are getting 70k dps on trial bosses using it so its working normally, plus in most cases people in cyrodiil have 0 armor on due to armor penetration.

on Old trial 30 sec bosses. Forget about it on new vet sanctum & VMoL. I mean you can still use it, but not just to burn the bosses. Only at certain places now.

You're not gonna rock up to those and pew pew with overload xD

I genuinely wish ZOS would get rid of the overload skill so sorcs can be properly balanced (buffed in other places)

Yes, you can get insane numbers using a combination of kena and or Alchemist and Julianos.

I've hit 5k spell dmg and 40k+ magicka with that set up.
