Hi everyone, please remember to keep threads on topic. This thread was put together to discuss barber shops and housing, if you want to suggest other features you're interested in a thread specific to those topics (or about general expectations) would be a better location.

Here i was, getting my hopes up, thinking we might have gotten some kind of answer, but of course, it's this...
I should've learned by now not to hope for an answer.
Seriously, could we get some kind of indicator to indicate if a dev comment is an answer or a reminder to keep things civil.
Also, this thread wasn't made to DISCUSS barber shop.
It was made to GET ANSWERS about barber shop from you guys.
I already said this on other threads and I know I'm repeating myself (no, it is not about black-haired Altmer again!), but how comes we are getting barbershop in two months and we have NO DETAILS WHATSOEVER on it? I mean, it should be on PTS next month, right? Maybe it isn't going on the PTS at all? How comes we found out about it in an ING article instead of through an official announcement? What is going on?

^ That kind of crap is the single most annoying thing about ESO forums.
You see a thread asking Zos to talk about a much-requested feature and there's the Z icon so a staff member has said something! ....... about keeping the thread on topic.

I'll say the same thing I always say to people like you:
1 - If we are going to wait until they fix everything in the game before getting new stuff, we will never get anything new again. I was here during the Great Pre-Console Content Drought, and it wasn't pretty.
2 - What you consider unimportant might be a game-breaker to someone else, just like what you consider important might be unimportant to others. Lots of people do not even experience any game-breaking bugs throughout their playthrough, and many more do not do pvp or any sort of endgame content at all so class imbalance do not affect them either. Try to keep that in mind before hijacking threads about incoming features.

I've been here since beta, and the game is at an all time worst atm when it comes to bugs and that needs to be fixed. Don't need to tell me about how horrible it was without any new content for over a year, I know how it was but I'd rather see them fix actual bugs than putting in a new hair that does literally nothing.

I understand, and that is fine. But consider that not everybody thinks like you, and how there are already dozens of threads about things that need to be fixed in this game, so no need to hijack a thread that is not following the trend. Complaining that not everyone is complaining about the same stuff you are is like complaining that someone could be helping orphaned children instead of volunteering on an animal shelter and helping cats and dogs instead.
I am here since beta too, but I disagree that this game is at an all-time worst when it comes to bugs: First month after release was much worse, and first week after Thieves Guild was also worse than it is right now. At least on my experience, because the game wouldn't stop crashing and I actually encountered bugs that stopped me from progressing, unlike now. And that is the thing, everybody's experience is different, and that is why we don't all complain about the same things.
In fact, if we wait for one thing to be fixed before we start complaining about the next instead of pointing out every areas that need attention, taking into consideration the time it takes for ZOS to implement any requested feature, we would be waiting for much longer and the game would never move forwards.
And don't forget that people stop playing because they don't like how their character look like but don't want to waste time rerolling. This is an actual issue for many people. You might think that it is just "a new hair that does literally nothing", but the inability to change your character's appearance might actually make people not want to play that character anymore. I'm sure many people here will love to tell you how they can't stand looking at one of their characters anymore, and because of that they are shelved until the Barbershop comes out. Myself, I hate the color of my main character's hair, so I use hats and hoods at all times and that does it for me, but I understand that isn't enough to many people.

I know some people do think a barbershop etc would be the best thing since the release of the game for them, but for a lot of people I know it's just not worth it and they have quit playing because of numerous bugs, complete slaughter of some classes patch after patch etc.
I've quit playing mostly except feeding horses and getting hirelings since I've seen ZoS for what they are. A money hungry short term company that'll abandon the game the moment they feel they've milked it enough.

Alright, but I'm still confused as to why you are here saying that what OP wants (and that is confirmed that will be added eventually) shouldn't be added "because there are bugs" instead of on one of the numerous threads about these bugs. If you recognize that this feature is important to other people, why saying it shouldn't be added?
We are not even requesting these features to be added, since they are confirmed features. We want details.

I'd rather they delay any dlc they got coming atm and fix the current bugs instead of introducing more bugs and not fixing old ones. If the game survived a year of no new content it can survive 6 months.
