EndmostSinger has lost 7 tempering alloy on rubedite hunding rage legendary dagger said it was created then dissapeared please help

    Good luck with that.

    No matter if you have proof or not that the item was successfully created, the support will say the item wasn't created at all and you'll have to take the +/-70o of damage as they'll not refund

    They said my Legendary Sword of Torug's Pact was destroyed and I was inside the bank. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Yeah, you need 8 gold tempers with max skill points in the Temper Expertise to guarantee 100% success on the improvement. If only 7 were used, there was a small chance of failure.

    Also of note, if the improvement was successful, the item still disappears from the Improvement window since it can't be improved any more. When you say it "disappeared", did it disappear from the crafting window or the inventory?

    It's a hard lesson. :-( Did it with a V16 medium Hunding's chest back when you had a 60/40* chance of getting shadow hide over rubedo from mobs. D:

    *I just made this ratio up based on what it felt like. No idea what the actual number was.

    7 or 90% works fine. Sorry to hear if you did lost it somehow.. glitch or what not.

    How can it be a glitch if there's 10% to lose the item and the mats?
    90% seems like a solid chance, but there's still a bit of gambling. Imo chances to lose everything outweight saving 8k gold (or whatever tempering alloy costs on your server)..

    If it's any consolation back when we used v14 items, I got a martial knowledge to turn gold on 1 wax. Happy days.
