Hello there! Your friendly neighbourhood role player here.
I was curious whether or not when and where we may be getting the mentioned things.
Are we getting one type of housing? Is the housing going to be past Varen's wall in the 'Colovian Estates' door near Kvatch?
Will the redesign cost crowns or gold? Same with the housing.
I heard somewhere we are getting three kinds of housing per races like the costumes, is this true?

    I am curious about the housing how will they make enough houses for players? And I hope we wont be all crammed in a small area.

    ZOS will require a one time payment of 5k crowns to be placed on a player housing waiting list.

    9 months later when a house is available, you'll have 45 minutes to pay 5k crowns in order to move in.

    ESO + subs get 60 minutes to make the purchase

    We are getting both, but we have no details yet.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    I have no need for housing. It seems kinda useless since you don't need to sleep. With banks, there is no need to store crap in your house like Skyrim. Just more stuff to tax stressed servers.

    I will be a subbed Hobo,..waiting for a boat to Seyda Neen,where my real home is.

    No, I just spouted some garbage. Thought it would be funny. It would make alot of people mad if they did that, as much as everyone is saying they want housing

    They did announce player housing in the first quarter of next year :) Which I am excited for :3 Now all I need is them spicy details on the barber shop! :D

    There is nothing to stop them offering a rested bonus if you go sleep before logging off.
    How rested you are then depends on when you log in again.
    This gives housing a reason to exist.
    Thats before we even consider the possibility of paid for extensions for personal alchemy, enchanting, crafting, manequins etc.
    Need somewhere to store all those suits of armour you might want for different occasions.
    Those unlimited crafting bags dont hold gear.
    Bank space is limited.
    Running al over the place to craft or swap stuff around is also a time sink not everyone wants.
    ie they would rather be playing than shunting stuff around.

    It would be nice to design a home and have all my crafting stuff there
    Mannequins from skyrim too for gear you dont want to hold
    Your own bank stuff beingn able to be accessed but not stores
    A stable that holds your mounts
    Somewhere for your pets

    Not needed but would be appreciated
    Also the option for guild housing is hopefully coming as well
