Soo, is there any particular reason why I can't kill NPCs in the new DLC?

Title, basically. I turned off "prevent killing innocents" and everything. Managed to finally get one for the first DB quest but it took some time to get him to aggro. Since then, haven't been able to attack anyone. What am I doing wrong?

✭✭✭✭✭Are you attacking with class skills or weapons? What I noticed is that I cannot attack unless I start the attack with a WEAPON first.. then it'll hit and then I can use class skills to kill. I spent a long time trying to kill an NPC with Puncturing Sweep, then finally hit him with my swords and it worked... then finished with Sweeps.CP: 2105 ** ESO+ ** ~~ ***** Strictly a solo PvE quester *****

✭I assume this is a mechanic in place to prevent AoE effects from class skills such as streak, boundless storm or path of darkness from triggering NPCs in order to allow for their utility even when they would technically hurt NPCs.Jo'Khaljor0 -
