Frost staff shooting firballs..

So I equiped my maple frost staff.... and it shoots fireballs.... I equiped a lioghtning staff, and it shoots lightning. I equiped a Firstaff and it shoots Fireballs.

So why does my front staff shoot fireballs? It's not a fire staff.....

    No, Its a fireball that knocks people back. It';s really weird, the name of the staff is "Maple Staff of Frost". And it has frost traits and abilities.

    Stats are:

    Damage: 1048

    Frozen weapon enchantment: Deals 1933 Cold Damage
    Infused: Increase weapon Enchantment by 11% and reduces Enchantment cooldown by 40%,


    This IS a frist staf, Yet it only shoots fireballs, and My Flame touch (whatever it's called) Is a fireball that sets people on fire, both it's light and heavy attacks are Fireballs also.

    It is an Inferno staff with Frost enchantment.

    Oh wait I see what it is.... It's a Flame staff, Named as a frost staff. (Just looked at the type of staff). Lol, they should really fix that.

    That apart, the ENCHANT is a cold enchant, but this is an INFERNO staff. I know it's confusing, but that's how it is. The enchant assigned to a staff is not the same as its element (hence why you can have poison enchants on those).

    I know this might sound silly but yes, check what was suggested above. A fire staff of frost is still a fire staff, it just has a frost enchantment on it. If it is an ice staff of <whatever> then yeah it should shoot ice shards. I think if ice staves caused a bleeding effect they would likely be more widely used

    So your frost element is only the enchantment put on your flame staff. But the enchant doesn't change the elemental type of destro staff itself. So in your case it has to be, like it was mentioned above, flame staff with frost enchantment on it. Such staff deals flame damage etc. with a slight frost bonus from the enchant. You can check the elemental type of destro staff by looking at the top left corner of your staff's window.
