Since the game has gone F2P ( for those who already owned it ) and B2P for new players.
Many people are not actually subbed anymore.
Now while getting 1500 crowns / subbed month is nice and all. There is little incentive to stay a subsequent subscriber.
Here's an example of what I am referring to: People got rewarded for being subbed (myself included) depending on the amount of months you stayed subbed.
Keep in min many many people weren't actually subbed since launch. Many people I know actually bought "enough game time" just before the offer expired for the mount.
Now I guess the ends justify the means? They got the same amount of money they wanted...
My point though is right now many people just subbed for one month to get the craftings bags.
Why not re-reward the loyal subs once more?12 months subbed chain = X reward 24 months = Y reward 36 months = Z reward ect.
This chain can be "broken" in terms of if you happen to unsub you don't start at 0 or 1 you keep your place so if you subbed for 1 year then stopped playing then sub for another 6 months, come back you don't start at day 1. You continue as if you are only 6 month's subs away from your next reward...
Costumes, pets, personalities, emotes, dance moves, mounts you name it they can go wild... Heck even a title. Just give loyal people something more than just generic crowns every month.
Make it fun
Personally I think all of the old loyalty items should be open to anyone who subscribes for the periods that we did to earn them.
I don't see any reason why someone who subs for a year from today shouldn't be rewarded for the same loyalty to the game as me just because I was here first.
This would also go towards helping incentive people to hold subscriptions (at least for a year) other playing for free.
Sadly though I think there are a number of people in the community who would scream bloody murder because their "special" mount they can epeen about owning would be open to more people.
I don't understand why they didn't just keep the loyalty scheme going.
They could have kept the exact same system and the same rewards for the first year, so all the new people (either those on consoles or PC players who only bought the game after the switch over) would have to sub for 3 months to get the Wraith pet, 6 for the Dwarf Sphere, 9 for the Mask of Cheerful Slaughter and so on, and then they could add new rewards for each quarter after that.
To me it seems like subscribing is more of a sign of loyalty than it used to be. Before you didn't really have a choice - you paid the sub or you didn't play at all. Now you can access the entire base game for free and just pay once for the DLC so a subscription seems much more like a choice and a lot of people say they do it because they want to support the game.
It's not really loyalty if you expect something in return.
That's consumerism.
Out of interest is this from someone who is a subscriber or playing under free to play? Additionally how would you feel about the former loyalty rewards items being release to new subscribers?1500 crowns a month is more than enough don't need to be given anything else

Sadly, people who dont sub will whine and bi-tch if Loyalty rewards arent given to them for buying the base game at certain times too.
Loyalty rewards for subbing will make a lot of people mad.I sub,and have all of the ones I was given. I just wish there had been one for two years subbing from the first.
People already groan about the Golden Tiger Sensche not being available for them.
I want a loyalty reward where an assistant runs along behind you hitting two halves of a coconut together.
But realistically yes. The more incentives to sub the better i think.

Stop with the loyalty crap.
It's not loyalty if you're asking for it.
Loyalty is staying with the company/game because you're pleased with the service/product you receive; loyalty is paying money and expecting nothing more than what you paid for. In some cases, a company may fail to deliver, in those cases you're in your right to complain. But you have no right to ask for -more- and still call it loyalty.
Asking for more is not loyalty. It's saying, "Despite the fact that I willingly paid you this money and got exactly what I knowingly paid for, I feel like my continued patronage makes me deserving of more." And that's crap. You wouldn't walk into a grocery store and say, "I've been shopping here for years, so I deserve this weeks' groceries for free."
It's entitlement and it's irritating.
Stop.

First off I even put the word "loyalty" into quotations because that's just the term it's known for.
Please show me in my OP where I said: "I subscribe to this game I want free stuff gimme gimme" I would love to know
If you read my post you would see that I am trying to discuss whether or not this incentive will attract more subs which will be good for the game's overall health.
It's called incentive not entitlement and it's good for business actually, hence why so many companies have "cards" that you can swipe to accumulate points. Even banks are using token-like systems now to reward customers.
This thread is not a discussion about whether or not it is entitlement or not or what the definition of loyalty is. A simple no would have sufficed.
I am not saying "GIVE ME A MOUNT, I GAVE YOU MONEY!"
I am asking to discuss whether or not we should have the system re-introduced.

Quote me where I demanded this or perhaps I suggest actually try reading in the future.
If you actually read my suggestion you would realise I am pointing this discussion as a way to increase sub #.
ZoS is already giving people with subs crafting bags, which is entitlement enough. Furthermore I am glad to see you edited your comment before I posted this draft I saved.
As this is a forum which means place of open discussion (among other things) in Latin, could everyone who said no and merely used the "that's not loyalty" argument please give a valid reason why you are opposed to a new mount or similar incentive program?
(Other than a false sense of higher morality)
As well as please suggest an alternative to attracting more subs, the crafting-bags is a good thing but other than what I suggested in OP I don't see another method that shows results.
