@Zenimax, so what are the chances of getting this?

I don't feel im asking very much, and i feel nostalgia goes a long way especially when dealing with Elderscrolls but would it be possible for your team to ... um you know, throw in the entire sound track from Oblivion into the ESO version of Cyrodiil? Everytime i watch a gameplay video of Oblivion or play it myself, my heart melts with nostalgia but going to Cyrodiil in the online game is only meh.
Perhaps this would cause legal issues with .... oh wait it shouldn't, since Bethesda and Zenimax are family

Since ZOS and Bethesda are different companies they would likely have to license the music from Bethesda.

The lethal junk surrounding this kind of stuff if FULL of gray area and loopholes.

They would probably even have to pay Jeremy Soule again too...

But I agree! It would be great!
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

Both Bethesda and ZOS are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Zenimax, it's very unlikely they would have to formally cross-license IP from each other. They would, however, have to honor any royalty agreements that exist for the original music.

If you play in AD a lot of the music is from Oblivion. Sometimes I feel like I must be in Cyrodil it sounds so familiar. I hear far less from Skyrim or Morrowind and I play in all three alliances.
Scura di Notte - Altmer Nightblade (gear)
Lalin del Sombra - Bosmer Sorcerer (alchemy/enchanting)
    Angevin Sarkany - Bosmer Dragonknight
Alkemene Velothi - Dunmer Warden (Morrowind)
Sanna yos'Phalen - Altmer Sorcerer (provisioning)
    Cosima di Mattina -Altmer Sorcerer
    Naria Andrano - Dunmer Templar
Luca della Serata - Redguard Templar

I love the music from Morrowind as well as most of the OB music.I wish they had added both soundtracks.
I have them in my one file for gaming music.
I turn down the music ingame and listen to my own. It loops so it never ends.
    ps,
I also have added music from ESO so that it is in my file as well as the other music.I love it too much to play without it at all.

I know that Zenimax may have wanted ESO to be its own unique game in the Elderscrolls series but to be honest, all i wanted when first playing ESO was to return to the areas so familiar in the past games, music and all. :)
Anywho, maybe some someday it'll happen

You know what I really want? I want to hear those wooden wind chimes in the ashlander tribe camps like they had in Morrowind! I miss being the Nerevar!

Why not just turn down the ESO music and play this in the background?

Prob not possible BUT there's some similar music in ESO...I mean pretty much the same but slightly different so this would be cool to have some Oblivion similar sounds.

See that is epic music. Most music in ESO, except the bard songs in taverns, puts me to sleep. Don't get me wrong ESO's music is soothing and all but it definitely doesn't get my blood pumping during battles and It doesn't put me into that exploring mood either. I normally play with a mix of Age of Conan soundtrack, 2 steps from hell, and all three Witcher soundtracks.

I hope when they make Vvardenfell they make it as weird as it was in Morrowind. Not saying that wind chimes are weird, but I want to feel that same feeling of being somewhere and seeing a culture that I had never seen before.

I want Vvardenfell to be as close to Morrowind as it can possibly be.There were a lot of graphics mods made for MW,but I never used them other than the twin moons and the sky and stars.I loved every strange tree and Mushroom there was.Every bazaar sound, every bit of moss hanging from dead looking trees, all of it.
