Rubedo Leather problem

✭✭Pretty much kill everything in the last 3 DLC zones on your way to farming dungeons, WB, etc. Even the skeevers drop rubedo at good rates. I have 5 characters with level 50 in blacksmith, clothing, and woodworking by deconning everything at first. The only skill points I put into those skills are for finding the mats. So it's pretty cost effective on skill points. Saltypretzels✭✭✭✭You may be missing something key. You need to have your clothier crafting skill maxed out. If so, all v160 drops should be rubedo.0 -
Khajiit_Ri✭✭✭I've seen similar threads about rubedo but if you go to Hew's Bane, Wrothgar , or the Gold Coast, you'll find it in abundance. Do you have "Plentiful Harvest" unlocked from the lover constellation? Another good one is "Master Gatherer."1 -

The best way to acquire leather is to deconstruct the Rebedo items you loot from mobs. 10 scraps doesn't make very much leather, while deconstructing one piece of gear with get you up to 7 pieces of full leather. The best way to acquire leather is to deconstruct the Rebedo items you loot from mobs. 10 scraps doesn't make very much leather, while deconstructing one piece of gear with get you up to 7 pieces of full leather. Why would anyone farm for scraps!?!

Go to the beach.
Run around the entire island, and kill every single mudcrab you see, and especially kill the mudcrabs you cannot see.
Rubedo Leather problem = solved.
