It's really pathetic.

In general, unless the attack you're dodging would result in your death (for ex a WB->combo at a bad time, etc, or even just you're too low to take it); you should save your stamina for break free. We barely have enough stamina to break free when we're inevitably hard CCed once per 5 seconds. Our regen is generally not enough for this to go on either, even with tri pots on cooldown. If at all possible try to streak through WB instead of dodging it because if you run out of stamina, you're plain dead.

Edit: This sadly also applies to roots, which you should not dodge out of unless you absolutely have to.
Blocking will also get you killed most of the time, again there are exceptions to every rule but as a rule of thumb "just don't" (see dodge example above)

One example of a great time to dodge is, "A zerg approaches." Try dodging before you streak if they get into range, instead of dying at the end of your streak (lol) you'll dodge.

Yeah. there are still ways to make it work. it's just, not a very fun/engaging class to play anymore imo.

Evry1 hits really hard this patch. They decreased TTK which resulted with neverending fights and now we get TTK like we had few patches b4. Idk @ZOS but seriously you need to finally decide...

More and more I am playing Overwatch or Paragon, lags and rest of bs are killing my fun..

The problem is ONLY the really good players are making it work. Those same players would be unstoppable as Templars or Stam DK's.

This happens in a number of MMOs. The class is badly broken, but the few skilled die-hards won't let it go and still overperform. Some pinhead at ZOS looks at the server metrics (kill/death ratio, DPS, objectives captured) and thinks "Duh. Nothing to do here!"

Meanwhile you get something that's really overpowered and popular like a Stam DK or a Nightblade. There are so many bad people playing them, that the average metrics for the class end up somewhere below a Sorc.

Then those classes get another buff. Sorc stays the same. We wonder why? Best thing we can all do is unsub,take a break and play overwatch. The mecha character is pretty badass.

You can add that on top that the means required to make it vaible might not be everyones cup of tea. Sorc took a huge hit in terms of build variety (which as a statement in itself is hilarious as everyone knows sorcs were pretty much copycats of one another already).

I would have no issue with the ttk if i was able to produce it myself with my own class. The problem is this being limited to certain classes/builds.

I enjoyed 1.6 immensely compared to this garbage.

You're both right in that these nerfs hurt more the average player and kills any build diversity, If there was such a thing. Reducing Shields to 6 seconds was way too much , I still think removing shield stacking and buffing shields a bit would be a better solution , the strongest shield would overwrite the others.

It would free at least 2 slots on a magicka build bar , no need to run Harness Magicka/Healing Ward if Hardened Ward was enough to give you survivability. Let's say stacking these 3 Shields gives you a 20k Shield , now Ward by itself gives a 12~15k Shield.

Roll back the changes to Crit Surge or at least make it so the heals are stronger. Buffing Weapon Damage/Spell Damage is nice , but you can get that from other sources which are arguably better. The things Crit Surge had going for it was that it healed for a nice amount and you got to make use of the Expert Mage passive.

Oh and get rid of Rune Prison and give Sorcs a spammable skill , with both a Magicka and Stamina morphs. Single Target , something in line in damage and utility with the other classes. Make the necessary fine tunings so it wouldn't be OP when you factor the burst potential of Frags/Curse/Wrath combo.

There are so many ways to bring diversity to Sorcs , those are just my thoughts , and my Sorc isn't even my main character. I just think all the good ideas get lost among the inevitable argument that starts in any topic regarding Sorcs.

My sorc is my main so i will play on it but now that i dont have to lvl characters to V16 anymore i will play on my stam/other mag characters but SORC 4 LIFE!!!

You can use the defensive morph to troll siege spammers and bow-tards.
