Not even that far into day 1 on PS4 of DB and already I found a Runestone node where someone took the Potency Rune and left the other 2. Either they don't have ESO Plus or they forgot about the Crafting Bags but I'm willing to wager it was probably someone trolling...

Yes but the difference now is we have unlimited space for such things if you have ESO Plus. There's only a chance that they'll spawn. You're going to find a lot of nodes with just essence and aspect (which are always guaranteed) but you'll also find some nodes with up to 6 total runes (since Plentiful Harvest can proc on each of the three types). I think the RNG gods just hate you.0 -

•Each harvestable runestone is guaranteed to contain an Essence and an Aspect rune, and one third of the runestones you find will also contain a Potency rune.
•Half the time, when you find a Potency rune it will be scaled to your combat level, and the other half of the time it will be scaled to your rank in the Potency Improvement passive.
•Every tier of both polarities of potency is now available for purchase from any enchanting vendor, including Alliance Point enchanting vendors.

I was just interested to see how someone could "troll" a node. I'm familiar with trolling a forum, but not with trolling a node. I thought that it might relate to people shouting at a node and perhaps beating it rather like John Cleese with his car in Faulty Towers, but sadly not. Ah well...1 -

Same here, I did actually intend to do some questing today, but keep getting sidetracked into looting everything in sight, obviously in a gathering mood today... the beauty of it is I've just been wandering around for hours without having to check how full my inventory is and making banking runs, then relogging on alts to hold all the mats - gathering everything is now much less stressful.GM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

✭✭✭I would like to reraise the point of this thread before I was aware of how the Potency Runes work by saying node trolling actually IS real. Just found a node with nothing but a Deni Rune in it. That's 1 of the 3 most used runes of all Essence Runes for various reasons. ESO Plus or not who would leave that behind?
