Does Dunmer/dark elf fire passive affect weapon enchant

I am trying to figure out what i want to enchant on my 2h sword and am a dunmer/dark elf and am wondering if the fire passive will affect my weapon enchantment if i go the fire enchant route.

im a dark elf magic blade and trying to re wrap my head around the exact way enchants work on weapons and what the best pve weapon enchant on inferno myself.

No it doesn't. It should boost the power of fire staves attacks too but it doesn't. Best enchant now is power...250 extra power for 5s with a 4s proc cool down means permabuff. Prismatic does tons of damage now too.

The dunmer fire damage racial DOES affect fire enchants, I see the difference clearly when looking at my enchant book on my dunmer.

If you look at the tooltip you will see that it DOES affect the weapon enchant damage.
Weapon damage enchant on the first weapon and fire dmg on the second (if you have one)

It DOES affect weapon enchants. Get fire enchant on your main weapon. You wont see the weapon enchant increase by 7%, but it really does do 7% more damage.
