So why not focus on the one we have and advocate for change...rather than talk about the next version, which could be years away if ever.
Hell, DCUO has been dying for the last five years or so...
Pretty much this^^^, wow will die, eso will die, eq will die, enjoy while you can games as we know it will die at some point.. and part 2's never seem to work very well.
If anything is going to kill this game it will be the upscaling of the normal zones removing the reason for leveling in a game that will still make you level to 50.

Have you been ingame lately, seen all the newbie chat questions? Or the ton of people at the dolmen's in Glenumbra, or the lag in Stormhaven?
I think we can all relax in the certainty that the game is not dying.
This game is dwindling can tell from my friends/guild list , New dungeons would be a start, may be the odd special event like a world boss spawning at a certain time as a one off with the chance to get an epic weapon without training or other crap trait on it.
And maybe an evenly matched battle ground for the pvpers instead of the zerg infested lag ridden horse simulator they have to deal with now.
Hell, DCUO has been dying for the last five years or so...
Please, don't talk about how things like "more classes will lead to infinite nerfs and balancing issues" because this is a next time post.
1. More classes, 4 isn't enough
2. Battlegrounds and arenas
3. Dueling
4. More achievable good gear, not just crafted gear
5. Achievable mounts
6. More achievable costumes
7. Darker game (I.e more blood, death, gore) this isn't minecraft
8. PvP in pve, with a toggle of course.
9. Difficult quests, interesting quests and immersive quests
10. Advertise the game? Like common I didn't even know the game was out until like 8 months ago tf?
11. Ragdoll system
Can't think of any more, please add some if you can think of them....
Or just complain about how this will never be implemented and completely disregard the fact I'm talking about the next elder scrolls mmo if it ever comes...
The only thing dying in this game are PvP-dreams and I wonder, when people will eventually get, that this is not a pvp game. It has some pvp, in a very limited area, well walled off from the rest of the world and it will stay there. You can forget about any dream of open world pvp - you got your playground there in Cyrrodil, now make the best out of it, because you won't get more.

One I agree with. The advertising/PR was inadequate. Even as a Skyrim player looking at Skyrim related sites I only found out about ESO after it launched. That's not good enough. I knew about Destiny long before launch as I could not look at a tech or gaming forum without seeing it mentioned. Big hype, almost went with Destiny. My connection with Skyrim was the deciding factor for ESO.

Well, as someone already mentioned... Every game dies. But ESO is far from that, if you ask me. So why not root for improvements to the game instead of making pseudo-prophetic threads that, honestly, no one will remember 10 days from now?
1. 4 is too much, should have no classes at all. Current class skill trees could be different "combat schools" that you can acquire through quests and such, with the possibility of more coming in the future.
2. Coming (tm)
3. Coming (tm)
4. ? Not sure what you meant here because there are good achievable gear and crafting is a form of achieving too. But if you're talking about monster drops and such, yeah, I agree that perhaps a bit more of variation (other than enchant, trait and a set bonus) would be nice.
5. Partially agree. For example, the Dro-m'athra senche could be a super rare Maw of Lorkhaj drop, too.
6. Agree, especially if they're as well crafted as (some of) the Crown Store ones.
7. I wouldn't mind if the game was a bit "darker" but don't think that blood and gore are the things that make a game darker, lol.
8. Nope. I do agree with more PVP options and even new PVP-PVE zones, yeah. But keep the PVP away from every other zone. Besides, if every zone had PVP, PVP population would spread thin, ruining other types of PVP (like Cyro and eventual Battlegrounds and such.)
9. Difficulty is a relative thing. The game is ok, mostly easy for some people but there are people that still find challenge in some areas and quests. Increasing the base difficulty would ruin the game for a lot of people. I like to think that if we like difficult things, we have to challenge ourselves, hence why I've levelled a character without armor and now I'm levelling one using only his bare fists (no weapons). It's pretty fun! Try it out! As for interesting and immersive quests, these are already in.
10. Well, I've always been an Elder Scrolls fan and knew about the game the moment it was first announced so I can't really agree or disagree here.
11. Yeah, Ragdoll would be cool. It could be client-sided, relieving the server from the stress it could cause. Since bodies have no collision, this would cause no issues. As for the loot "falling" out of reach or something, a "loot bag" could be dropped where the enemy was killed just like it would be if there was no ragdoll at all.
More suggestions, you say?
12. Housing! (I know it's coming, but I'd like to say "housing" anyway.)
13. Costume DYES! PLEASE!
14. More mount customization (saddle dyes? HORSE ARMOR, LOL LOL LOL )
15. Weapon Sheaths! My khajiit is tired of cutting her tail with those hanging blades. Think of it, ZOS - You could even sell "custom" sheaths! PROFIT!
16. Visible secondary gear: allow us to see the bow in our back while using DW, for example, and all the other combinations. (allow us to see both our equipped weapon sets)
17. More climate events. Storms, strong wind, harsher sandstorms... Perhaps even special weather events and areas where it could affect gameplay, like a sudden snow storm or sandstorm that slows players down and force them to raise their hands to cover their faces (like that amazing quest in Wrothgar)
18. More variation in Cyrodiil Keeps. Keeps could have a bit of a different building styles - even if just cosmetic. Perhaps this could be related to the faction holding the keep - for example, when the Pact takes a keep and repair its walls, why would they carefully rebuild imperial walls? Keeps could look more battered/damaged, with those walls that have "marks" of being repaired over and over (like different stones and such) and could vary according to the faction. Just to give a bit more of beauty and variation.
19. Imperial City district holding could somehow influence the war outside. Perhaps holding more than half the districts could allow that faction to access the Ruby Throne room and steal something that could act as a "7th" Elder Scroll (for buffs and such)
20. An Animal Taming skill tree! Combat pets! (that are not daedric beasties)
21. A necromancy skill tree! Seen as a crime for Justice guards, also incompatible with some other trees!
22. Mounted Combat! (Not impossible, LOTRO added it YEARS after release)
23. More weapon types! Polearms, fencing swords (one-handed without shield), unarmed or fist weapons!
24. More "staff" types: Wands (one-handed staffs for staff+shield or staff+sword)
25. Pure magicka! (unarmed combat for "Improved" spell effects)
... I guess I'll stop here :P

1. 4 is plenty.
2. Small-scale PvP is already coming.
3. Refer to #2.
4. I'd say the majority of the metagame aims for dropped gear. Only a few craftable sets are actually used by them.
5. This has been mentioned already but you can still buy some horses from the stables.
6. I think there are plenty of non-crown store costumes.
7. You're right; it isn't minecraft. They did, however, tone it down to appeal to a younger audience.
8. Cyrodiil is both, excluding Gold Coast and Kvatch.
9. It's true there are no really difficult quests in this game but the other 2 exist, although the former of the 2 is an opinionation.
10. They did advertise it. I saw the commercial myself, even if it was advertised for XB1...
11. Explain?
LOL ZOS paying you ?

Sometimes I really wonder how people can have such a distorted view on reality - ESO is doing just fine and the overall direction this game is taking will make it even better. One Tamriel is a good move and will allow for other features like difficulty sliders - they are not announced yet, but it would make me wonder, if we won't get them at some point in time.
The only thing dying in this game are PvP-dreams and I wonder, when people will eventually get, that this is not a pvp game. PvP in this game is optional - who wants to do this, can, but it is not the focus of the game. I guess ZOS regrets the day, when they decided to have PvP in this game - this was a mistake and as much as they might see this now, they cannot get rid of it. So they will have to keep pretending, but I would not bet on that there will be a lot of progression as far as PvP goes. A few things maybe, like an arena and the occasional trial with DLCs, but otherwise ZOS's main focus was and will be on PvE.
In my opinion this is all good news for the majority of TES fans - that ESO finally shows it's RPG side, focuses on it's real strength and puts PvP on the back burner. And this is what I see ZOS doing - they finally focus on what has made TES great and phase the unwanted stuff out - so yes, some may feel that the game would be dying - but this is intended phasing out.
Edit: I think that difficulty slider will be coming, because a battle-level scaled lvl 4 player (in the way it is scaled now in DLCs) will have a hard time - too hard for many, and it might make people stop playing early on - a difficulty slider is necessary.
