NEW CP system & what does it mean for alts'

Hey everyone

So from what I've heard & seen the VET system is going to be replaced by the CP system, adjusting all the gear, mobs & etc.. to CP points
Also, as from what I know 160 CP will be the equivalent of VET 16 lvl i.e. max lvl

Now given the fact that CP points are shared among all your characters in the account, does it mean If I create a new character it will have all the CP points i.e 160 CP & thus will be considered to be max lvl & so can wear the end game gear (which is at 160 CP)

If yes then what will be the point of alt if no progression in terms of exp that can be made
I just feel a bit confused, cuz previously creating a new character incorporated it's own progression in order to wear better & better armor

and also will I be able to earn CP points with my alts (i.e what is the requirement to earn CP) cuz previously u could do so after lvl 50

I'm playing on PS4, we didn't receive DB expansion yet

Thx in advance

Levels 1-50 are still the same so your new character is restricted to wearing gear at their level as always. But the new character will have all of your champion points and will be able to use them. You will only earn champion points from 50 onwards.

Brief answer, vet 1-16 is replaced with CP10-160 (add a zero) for gear / monsters etc. You will still go up to CP501 cap but just get the CP bonuses.

You need to level a new Alt to L50, THEN they jump straight to CP160 (actual level will be CPxxx where x is your CP score) but CP160 is the current end game top gear cap.

    Make sense?

    thx for the response

So if my main has 160 CP, if i decide to create a new character it will only acquire all the CPs from the main after it hits lvl 50, right? So at the period of 1-50 the new character will have no CP transferred to him from my main character
    thx

What's great is that your previously vet level character can go on and earn those Champ points, and your lower level alts will get the benefit from them.
