Why is dying my outfits bounded to my account?

Each time I dye my outfits I get a message saying that once I dye them I cannot share them with friends and sell them..... why not? If the person to which I'm selling the outfit to doesn't like the color that I put on there they can freely go back, and change the color to whatever they desire.

It's because dyes are tied to achievements. They are one of the few status symbols in the game.

Not saying it's right or wrong but that's why as far as I know.

That's an intelligent and informative remark that has nothing whatsoever to do with this thread.
Dying and bound or unbound had absolutely nothing to do with learning to play.

Actually if you knew how to play you would know as soon as you equip an item it is bound wither you dye it or not you cant trade it or sell it to anyone other than a npc vendor.

That only applies to set items. Non-set items (and the clothes you can steal and launder) are not bound by default.

OP, as others have said, it's because Dyes are tied to achievements. I'm sure there are a few players out there that would pay a pretty penny for an outfit dyed in Emperor Red, Legate Black or the green you get from completing Sanctum Ophidia.

Because archivements would be even more useless if i could just pay someone to get rare dyes like emperor ruby red, high pvp ranks and trials.

    That's rude and uncalled for.
I know how to play, have several alts that were in their middle V levels.
I have been playing since the betas.
So,take your ignorant(meaning uneducated) comment elsewhere.
Also,I simply said that I hadnt gotten that message before.
You need to learn to read, pal.
