Large Unintended Groups via Group Finder

I like to complete the daily dungeon for the XP and the items. However, the wait for this is usually incredibly long especially as a dps and what often seems to happen, after an hour of waiting, is getting put into a 6 person group. Only 4 can complete the dungeon so if you don't travel fast enough you miss out and have to once again que for a ridiculous amount of time. This is an extremely annoying and clearly unintended glitch in the system, am I the only one to get it?

It happens on Xbox one still (pre-DB patch) so for whatever reasons it's not been commented on other than asking us for more details weeks upon weeks ago during the TG grouping tools enhancements.

I think we all need to submit bug reports each time cause the more we report, the less chance it's overlooked.

That happens all the time, it has something to do with booting players that have gone offline and if they return within a given amount of time, it will automatically add those players back into the group. However the players who are still there have most likely started a search for more players to fill in the spot. The system doesn't seem to have a check on whether the offline players came back to cancel the search for 1-2 more people.

happens on ps4 also. id you're in a group and someone is offline, you can que and it includes them into group list.

This happened to me in the most epic way last night. I qued as a tank for the daily dungeon. After about 30 minutes the tool put me in a group of about 15 people. Most were offline. The dungeon travel prompt kept popping up but it would not send me anywhere. The best part was that it would not allow me to leave the group. I was stuck in this group for about 2 hours. Regardless of logging in and out, I was just stuck lol!

I was finally able to leave when the leadership of the group defaulted to me. At that point, I was able to disband the whole group. I hope for the sake of others that the disband actually kicked everyone out of that silly bugged party.
