DK Dual Wielding

I've been reading a few guides on dual wielding for Dragon Knight, but 90% are outdated as ***. Is it still worth dual wielding, or is a 2H the better option?

Any build suggestions would be much appreciated. I am currently dual wielding with the following build on my level 15 Orc - Fiery Grip, Venomous claws, Hardened Armor, Molten weapons, Bloodthirst & Take Flight.

    Probably should start with Dual Wield on one bar and Two-handed on the other until you unlock vigor from the Assault skill line.

    With vigor, Dual Wield and Bow works really well in PVE.

    Two-handed and Bow works better for PVP though, imo.

    Most people do dual wield for pve, and if you have the health then awesome but I prefer 2H for both PVE and pvp. Rally is a must for both, and for PVE I like using brawler because of the shield it gives. Going through big mobs is a breeze. Brawler, talons, flame breath, good night.

    pfff.. rally is not needed for DK as it's heal is too small now, and ignious weapons gives both major and minor buffs. So its useless for PvE and in PvP it can be somewhat valuable only in forward momentum morhp.

    For PvE DW\DW or DW\bow look stronger then 2H.
    For PvP 2H is still strong but S&Sh is more reliable and also very good.

    Rally isnt as necessary as it used to be. Dual wield now has two attacks that heal (blood craze heals over time, bloodthirst heals with the final hit). Both abilities benefit from mighty and thaumaturge, since they're considered DoTs, and synergize amazingly well with DK class abilities for that reason. You can get your minor and major brutality from igneous weapons (not to mention the stamina return and ultimate gain).

    Blade cloak in DW is also considered a DoT and has the area damage protection. Combine that with the heals from bloodcraze/bloodthirst and vigor, and you should be able to keep yourself alive just fine.

    I run bow on the back bar for my DK for the additional damage over time abilities as well: endless hail / poison injection, and bombard for aoe groups in pve.

    DW is the strongest endgame PvE option, because *cough cough* Maelstrom daggers/axes.

    That said, for leveling, anything works. Possibly, get (Resolving) Vigor by PvPing 2-3 days since it's very easy to get (running in a zerg, dropping a siege, and blowing up peeps), and you'll have your healing for the rest of the game.

    You can use Flying blade for the Major Brutality buff later on.

    Bow is second best DPS option since it provides powerful DoTs (Poison Injection for single target, Endless Hail for AoEs).

    You can check this build, this is slightly outdated (Thieves Guild), but it's just to give you a few ideas about what a DW/Bow setup can look like on stam DK.

    Don't just copy the build tho, terrible idea.

    I'm still on console so I wasn't aware of the changes to rally.. That's kind of disappointing, but at the same time, I'm glad igneous weapons finally works out better.
