Dear @ZOS_GinaBruno and @ZOS_JessicaFolsom,

As you are most probably not aware your maintenance is during noon time in Europe.

Please provide us with time frames of following maintenances so we can plan our day having in mind server going down for maintenance.

Hope community support this petition.

I completely agree, I bought this game like month or month and a half ago and every time there is a maintenance it is either during noon or at prime time ( and the maintenance days happend to be my free days).

I understand that you probably won't be able to make a new maintenance window for EU players but atleast give us approximate timeframe for the maintenance.

I, Freyr Blackwood sign this petition.

All moderators are currently sleeping so no chance to get any response in few hours I believe.

What a waste of our time as its 06:45 in US....

Agree! This is super annoying. I just came home and wanted to play and what do I see? Maintenance... I seriously want to play.

Firstly Gina is on maternity leave, try @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

Secondly, what do you guys do that means that you have weekday daytime hours to play?

I'm typing this in my lunch break and will be back at work shortly.

Well currently I am a university student on semester break and I am also waiting for a job interview next week, so yeah I had this past month free daytime hours.

    None of your business, frankly.

However I will tell you. I work on a suicide watch ward at night, have kids home in evenings and have a few hours a few days a week when i am not cleaning up after people when i can play and Monday was what I arranged to be that day - back when maintenance was at a reasonable hour on Tuesdays.

I am only me so I know that this won't be formed to my life but you can see by the number of complaints that enough people work a similar way to me.

Sorry but that one is beyond me.

I'm well aware that many like @mureel work none office hours. I also juggle playtime around domestic life too and have enough life experience to know that we don't all work, 9 til 5.

However, at the end of the (hard working) day, it's just a game, a pastime. I know it's annoying when you can't play when your time allows but life still goes on.

Ok I understand that for some of you, it's your time to play, but people play this at all hours 24 hours a day so who would you like to inconvenience to make sure you get to play?

I went outside once, the graphics were awesome but the gameplay sucked

And no one said it didn't.

What we said was that we would like more sensible maintenance hours for EU - just like they used to be shortly before DB patch, or similar to what NA gets.

Not unreasonable if they have 2 servers in separate places as they say they do.

I just no longer believe they are in separate places and I think this is why BOTH servers' maintenance are now done at the same time.

I'm from Denmark and honestly I couldn't care less. They aren't putting the maintenance time where it is because they want to *** us off.

Go outside for a walk, clean up, read a book, watch a funny video or 200, cook a new awesome meal, play with yourself, practice knots for camping, go fishing ETC

The sea of opportunities is endless. Don't make this a bigger deal than it actually is.

That being said, of course I think they should move the time if its possible and not an inconvinience for them, but again, lets not make this a bigger deal than it is..

Even tho its none of your ******* business I am gonna tell you. I used to be a student, did not like my university so I left and now I am looking for work (had interview this morning to one and wanted to relax after it and play). Either ways if I still was in university I would have free days now so it would end up the same way - being pretty annoyed that I cant play what I want. I guess I will end up at another game once again, which is nothing good for Zenimax when they push people away from then for this stupid maintenance.

You are pretty much unaware of the rest of the EU population which is pretty selfish of you. What about Asia and Australia? Dont they have like evening (prime time)? The previous schedule (3am BST) was fitting much more to everyone who plays on EU server (if you dont count exceptions who work in different hours than most of people).

I am also from Denmark and I disagree. Giving NA good maintenance times and giving EU bad ones is favouritizing one part of the community over the other - which they already do a lot when it comes to information on downtimes on NA, promoting NA streamers, improving performance a lot better on NA etc.

It polarizes the players and gives us an idea of NA players being more important than EU players.

There will always be more people wanting to play between 10.00 and 15.00 than 03.00 and 08.00.

The current maintenance hours don't really affect me but that does not mean this isn't an issue worth adressing. This is about so much more than just the maintence times.

I honestly don't expect ZOS to improve on this since it's an American game company and no American game conpany has ever accomodated their EU playerbase as much as their NA one when it comes to MMOs.

And it is pretty much common knowledge that because US is so used to everything being about the US in their lives, that is just how things are. Both in politics, economics, every day life and how you run your business.

No. The reason they do it at this hour is because that is when they take the NA server down. And the hour has been chosen based on what suits the NA server best; so when there's least players online or trying to log in.

They should by all means seperate the two maintenances again so they are both done during the night (03:00-08.00 or somewhere around those lines) on both megaservers.

Sure it's better to take it down during noon than during the evening, but it is even better to take it down during the night. Currently it is being taken down in NA during the night and EU during the noon because they accomodate the NA player base and not the EU one.

Imagine if they took it down during EU night time, which would be NA prime time; that is basically what happens here; maintenance times only catered towards the NA community.

They used to seperate them, now they don't anymore.

It's a step in the wrong direction and will, as I mentioned earlier, polarize the player base, along with everything else they are doing at the moment that only caters to, and favorizes, the NA player base.

I am not expecting it to change it all because after all they are an American company and I expect nothing more from anything coming out of America, and with almost every other American MMO it's the same story, but it is still an issue, and not one you can just tell people to "live with" (not aimed at you specifically but everyone in this thread trying to justify it).

People who are frustrated with this has every right and reason to be, eventhough I personally don't think anything will change.

ZOS already made it VERY clear that they deem the NA players more important.

No matter what time maintenance is, it will affect someone and they will complain about it. Just remember that there are too many work shift in a 24 hour period for ZOS to accommodate everyone so all they can do is whats best and easiest to get it done in a timely and economical fashion for them. Complaining about will not help one bit.

Also they always announce maintenance at the top of the forums page top give notice and i believe there is a schedule of times posted somewhere.
