If they haven't announced more DLC by now, I'm skeptical there will be any Q3. That is a major fail. Emphasizes how sketchy subbing is as new content isn't even guaranteed. But there are still 4 months before Q3 ends.
Relax, we're not even out of Q2 yet. They have until the end of September, meaning it doesn't even have to hit PTS until August. Ever since they'd announced that they would release a new DLC every quarter, they've released a new DLC every quarter, there's really no reason to believe they aren't going to. They could probably wait until QuakeCon to announce it if they wanted to. In the past they've typically announced the next DLC about a month before its release, I wouldn't be surprised to see the same this time.
I hope this doesn't make the current cp160 zones even easier to play so that they can accommodate people with almost no skill unlocks in soul shriven rags who go straight from Coldharbour to what would have previously been a v10 zone.paleobonesb14_ESO wrote: »DaveMoeDee wrote: »Will One Tamriel mean that my cp160+ characters will get cp160 gear in treasure map chests in every zone? Or will gear still be low level in low level zones? The same question applies to recipes and motifs, though these would be better left as is while gear would be better scaled.
Sounds like everything scales to you.
-We will adjust gear rewards to scale appropriately to make sure that there is always a way to get more powerful via crafting, questing, PvP, and dungeon/trial boss loot drops.

But that is because those were all things we had known they were working on for a while, but had to be put on the back burner for console release. Now that we've caught up to the things that probably should have been released a long time ago (like before they made you pay for each DLC...), the upcoming content is much less familiar to us. I'd certainly like it if they let us in on what types of DLC to expect over the next couple quarters, but they certainly don't have to do it in order to release it on time. Plus, if they plan on making a big event out of QuakeCon, they may be purposely being quiet about upcoming DLC so they can break a lot of big news there. I wouldn't be surprised to see them announce the next DLC then, along with some information about other upcoming DLCs.

Feel bad for Matt, he flew all the way out there to advertise content that has already been released while all the other developers got to talk about exciting new content and stuff for their games. Not his fault or anything, the timing just sucks that E3 falls right after their new content. It'd be nice if they implemented a new PVP area to support this One Tamriel thing. Like, idk, battlegrounds or something.
It could be worse, he could work at BattleCry. You know, the studio under Bethesda that's developing... something... maybe. I don't remember. Nobody does.Oh God Zenimax... That Livestream host.
"The whole segment was the most long-winded way to say 'Hello. I still exist. Do you remember we have a game?'"
I'm so sorry Zenimax.
I want to get a Mournhold Militia together and raid Wayrest. Can we now? And faction v faction outside of cyrodiil?
Apparently @MissBizz was sitting right next to the microphone too. I could hear her screaming the entire time.
I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone in the audience cheering for ESO. The hate everywhere else is insane, even after all these years. So happy to see players standing up for this game.

Has Matt Firor been on the post show interview yet?
