Restoration staff doesn't always work or target the enemy

I will do a heavy attack and my character stands there with the stick out but it doesn't target and the target is not even far away. Locking on seems to be an issue. Sometimes it does it fine and other times it's like it has no clue that the target is there. Then the targets charge at my character and I am trying to do a heavy attack and the character just stands there stupidly doing nothing.

✭✭✭✭✭Yeah it affects all weapons, not just staves. I had 3 interrupts and 2 Reverse Slice hit "air" when the target was right in front of me, I thought it was maybe I was out of sync with the target, but Reverse Slice doesn't activate unless a target is within range otherwise it doesn't activate at all. Either that or its a new feature to make PvE mobs more difficult to kill by giving them a bonus to dodge attacks standing perfectly still without an actual dodge.0 -
CombatPrayer✭✭✭✭I have a lot of transparent strikes in the game too. Like I'm attacking a ghost. I am right on them and I never strike them. My weapons go right through them. I guess it's the same issue then. Some kind of hit box issue or something like that. Annoying when it happens. Sometimes I wonder if it's a weird connection issue but I don't think that's it.0

teaguewh✭My restoration staff has a paddle lock on it and in my menu the top points to the right instead of left like all the others. I was in Hue's Bane when I noticed it. What gives?0
