Eyevea - mages guild quest - question about leveling

I'm currently Lev 50 character with 49cps. I went to Eyevea and noticed that all enemies were leveled as 43.

I thought it was strange, I thought all enemies should be scaled to the level of a player.

Anyway, I was fighting all monsters and noticed another player with me that was lev 43. Have enemies been leveled by him (43) or it was just a mere coincidence? Is this normal? What to do if/when enemies are leveled by the weakest player?

Eyevea isn't scaled because it's not a solo instance... also Mages and Fighters Guild quests didn't used to scale.

This quest should be played alone, yes? As for the quest, it says it's lev50 in my journal. But this place is lev 43... hm!

Yea it's not bugged it's always like that. When you go inside to continue quest that part is scaled.

Did the quest today on my lvl 32 Templar. Enemies lvl 43, never realised before but they dodge pretty much every attack I do including jabs. Because of the difference in level I assume.

It's been like that forever, the majority of MG and FG quests are solo and leveled to the player with the exception of Eyevea, which has always been level 43, and you may come across players there on the same quest as you.

Mages and Fighters Guild Quests will Scale up to the Character, but not down below their native level. Eveya is the last stage, so those enemies are L43 or so. But, they should have leveled up to your character level, being that you are above L43.

Reason I say that, all my enemies were CP160 when I was there.

I don't remember if Eveyea was completely instanced or not, as it is an open zone. I think I saw other players up there back in the day when everyone was going through the MG at the same time.

@Nestor Well, I played those MG & FG quests a bit more and all main bosses and solo play have scaled enemies.
But when the quests lead you to the open world, they are not scaled and have a fixed lev.

Funny thing I noticed, when you are in the Eyevea, Valaste looks old and wrinkled, but when inside with uncle Sheo, she's young and beautiful again. Some Mad god madness! :P
