Dear Factions: Stick to One Buff Server at a Time

So, I've noticed lately that some factions *cough cough blue cough* have been running with 2 buff servers now. Really, do you need that many? Albeit there aren't many campaigns for vets as before, but that's just rediculous. I was on both Azura's star and Haderus. DC reigns on top of both campaigns. AD is with Trueflame, but that's only one campaign. Seriously, guys, ya only need one.

Azura was yellow when I arrived last month . Not my fault they left . Good luck not getting noticed with CE running in a no CP zone . We never drove off the competition either . We left 3 keeps to red and yellow for over a month .

You'll have to ask people on Haderus about that campaign . I just guest there but hardly ever show up .

As an predominately AD player, Im glad I stuck it out on TF. Was thinking of going to Had last week during the end of the TF campaign but decided to wait and see.

TF was pretty full today so I went over to guest on Had only to find blue had taken everything but one last AD keep that they were attacking.

I asked one of the Blues why they were pushing all the way to spawn and they responded with "because AD did it for weeks before".

It seems personal responsibility only goes so far as the other alliances when it comes to being jerks.

TF is great now though. Very close score, even pops (or at least far more even) and good fights all over.

Haderus was great until recently - hordes of AD and almost no DC. We got to fight outnumbered and rake in the rewards and really challenge our group. Then all of a sudden hordes of DC arrived after we capped emp and the AD and EP, whilst still showing as having capped populations seem much more scarce. It's almost enough to make us head over to TF, except when we do the lag makes I pretty much unplayable so its impossible to keep a guild group going over there so TF really isn't much of an option.

BWB is dominated by the hordes of DC. Did many of the old players come back or what for there is so many DC all of sudden?
    A is for Atronach.
    B is for Bungler's Bane.
    C is for Comberry.

What I think happened is that when the Dark Brotherhood dlc came out, a lot of the lesser-skilled EP went to play it and are still playing it. DC and AD must be taking advantage of this, which is understandable. But DC: stick to Had, please. Let the lesser-skilled EP have fun in Azura's Star. It's a good learning experience for them.

In Had, I see Fengrush finally came back! However, he's pretty damned skilled and didn't need as many clingons last night. I've seen him take on some rather big groups. I guess whenever a well-known streamer does pvp in your faction, you must cling on for the AP.

    Haderus in a nutshell

EP - Has one or two organized groups that do all the objective play, when they are not on, the pugs do jack nothing and sit in the sewers 24/7. Most of EP left Haderus 3 months ago for true and never come back unless the queue for true is 100+. Pop locks or three bars nightly, but only 20-30 are ever up top doing anything useful, the rest are sitting in sej or the sewers.

DC - Until three weeks ago the smallest faction on Had, now they are probably the largest. Has one really strong 12man, two 24 man raid guilds, with a bunch of other little groups, can zerg like a mofo when they all ball together.

AD - Seems to have mostly surrendered recently. They went from being the megazerg horde three raids deep to maybe one organized group if at all. Some nights there arent even groups of AD rolling around, just gankers. It appears most went back to true.

Yeah swapped to TF an hour ago . Plenty of AD there . Almost had enough for a 3rd engine guardian shoulder .

Pick up your game. DC is fielding no greater numbers than the other factions have in the recent past, and our groups are not doing anything out of the ordinary on the map. Our 24 man groups are pugs, K-Hole runs smaller than ever, my group doesn't play the map, and Essa's emp group is behaving exactly how emperors should in this game -- a strong player is holding emp and has a solid group supporting him, as opposed to zergling emps like the game as a whole has had for the last few months. Man up and fight back.

Back when Rylana was busy trying to trick numbers into going against the mighty AD haderus zerg, some people took the bait.

Problem was there really wasn't an AD zerg, but only a few organized groups and a couple of zone recruitment blobs. Smaller groups that wanted to play organized without the lag, came to haderus and stayed on haderus for this reason.

If you think people are going to bother with the cross faction nonsense for long, well enjoy your buff server and having no one to kill with your horde of CE users.

The influx of DC has certainly changed Haderus, and not entirely for the better. It's great not to be banana zerged every night, but solid blue is no fun. I got some VERY nasty whispers after speaking out against pushing gates this afternoon.

Meanwhile Azura's was solid yellow this afternoon, then AD and EP hammered at DC from both sides and dethroned on Haderus tonight. Good fights.

Speaking as a DC player, I don't want two solid blue campaigns either.

My group hasn't been on haderus for about 2 months now but I hopped on last night due to serious lag and the map was predominately blue. AD seems to be lacking in organized groups on the server and with high queue times in TF, which were nonexistent for the past two months, the AD diaspora from TF to Haderus is all but over but is instead happening in reverse. With 3 strong groups in Arcane, Fantasia, and VE, AD has been doing pretty strongly this campaign but Haderus is really just a mess.

From my perspective, DC and AD now have equal numbers of players with both sides having huge hordes of pugs and guild groups mashed in one. Just keeping it real to the DC guys here but all I saw were blobs of blue and blobs of yellow, it wasn't like old Haderus where AD swarmed everything and there was only K-hole.

Now you have Essa and fengrush in their small man emp group as well as multiple other guild groups but surrounded by hordes of DC. Just not buying into the whole DC narrative of small man groups dominating huge hordes of AD. Like I said, I only ran once in Haderus in the past 2 months but what I saw isn't "Calling all DC and EP to get rid of AD from Haderus" campaign balance. All I saw were small groups claiming to have the moral high ground (Ex. Fengrush) or more skill even when surrounded by hordes of their own faction at the same time. That's just not small man to me and it kinda annoys me that people still act like this is the same Haderus from 2 months ago. It just simply isn't. Both sides are zerging at the same time.

AD has been the dominant force on Haderus until this past week, actually. Essa decided he wanted to push the map for an emp apparently. Prior to his push, the map was rather balanced with AD in a marginally stronger position than the other factions.

I think its funny that DC thinks they have one small group running the show. Yall do realize all the streamer fan boy pugs follow yall across the entire map? Hence the DC dethrone when he got off

Been reading and hearing a lot about latency lately with Dark Brotherhood launch. Starting to question if 90% of the player base runs on dial up connections.

5 nights this week in Trueflame NA and my average ping is 95. When guild mates started to complain about lag of 300 plus, mine was around 107 to 129. Emp dethrone I had around 500 to 700, but it was gone very quickly. There was one night for about 30 minutes that lag was spiking quite a bit, but not much.

This patch has been amazing. Low ping rates, FPS is 25+ in large battles, zero crashes. Only negative is some odd input lag that crops up from time to time, load screens, and some odd things in terms of medium weaving with destro on my Sorc.

Not sure where all the lag complaints are coming from..

It's pretty much a server where an alliance gets most of the buffs for pvp, i.e. scrolls, keeps, higher score, etc.
