Nope still loads of Bosmer and Khajiit in game, they make awesome stam NB's. Also, I am seeing lots of new build Orcs as well, going Dk/Stamplar.

And lots have Imperials, which beat the **** out of all the above races for stam sustain builds.

I imagine my Argonian, Sings-Many-Songs, will miss seeing other Argonians.
Then she will only sing sad, sad songs.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I'd actually be willing to bet that this game has more role players and or casual fans of Elder Scrolls that play the race they like and don't give a damn about min maxing. Sure, min maxers will have less racial diversity, but most of those guys have already leveled the appropriate race/class combinations.

Exactly. The min/maxers I'm guessing have mostly already made the best race/class combination for their playstyle. The rest of us are happy more or less with our characters the way they are. After all; there is not one race/class combination in the game that excludes a player from completing content.
If you can be anything, be kind.

If people wanted to use Altmer, Dunmer or Redguards they would of made their characters Altmer, Dunmer or Redguards in the first place.

Its pretty funny. When people on forums complain about difficulty, they use "The majority of the playerbase are casuals, they just want to play the game wthout caring about builds, dps and such" as their main argument.
When it comes to race changes etc, the arguments are totally opposite. "Everyone in the game will strive for perfection so there wont be any diversity".
So where's the truth? I personally highly doubt that race change will suddenly turn casuals into hardcore players.
On a side note, I'm a bit tired of people using abstact "majority of players" as universal argument to prove everything.

Also, I believe that since TES has always been about freedom, more choices are always better than less. ;)

I quite enjoy being one of the only Argonians in AD, so I won't changing.

Race change is a silly idea anyway.

It isn't silly. If they change passives that make a min/maxers race no longer the most effective for their class and role, that is a big deal to them, small changes means a big deal to min/maxers and they shouldn't be expected to re-level everytime ZOS decides to rebalance something. Changing passives on min/maxers is like if they suddenly made your Argonian a Khajiit. If that happened I doubt you would say "well I'll just have to level a new character that looks like my old one" you would be furious. MMO's are constantly changing and we shouldn't expect players to have to re-do tons of work because things were changed on them. Race change is a valid service, but it should cost something.

I would still khajiit. I am not sure if I can live without the "Sneaky" passive while doing solo PvE and I don't really like Bosmer passives (or how they look). Then I also have billions(well, at least 10) of RP reasons to stick to khajiit but I won't bring them up

Khajiit still best race for stamina damage in PvE.
Argonians health stacking tanks are still the best tanks w/active healing.
Imperial is still the best race for health stacking templars.
Nords are still best for health regen tanks.
Bretons are a very solid choice for magblades / templars that don't use elemental damage.

Min/maxing is getting every stat possible. Above choices are technically min/maxing.

I completely agree with you. I chose a bosmer because that is the race I played in Oblivion/Skyrim and it is my favorite one. It is a nice coincidence that I play a NB, but I think that role players and casual fans choose the race they prefer as you say, not the one that would make the most of their class.
