CP150 loot in CP160 zones

I'm in my 3rd alliances final zone and the mobs/bosses drop trash CP150 loot and all the resource nodes are Void not Ruby.

Do the item sets drop as CP160?

Is it buy the content or you don't get CP160 gear making the Cadwells quest zones an XP grind with no interesting loot?

Is it a bug?

I have all the content, i have more than 160 Champion points so where is the CP160 loot?
If real life had a block function i would go out more.

Proud to have spent a year paying to BETA test ESO for consoles.

Only place I have seen 160 resources is in paid DLC. Craglorn does not even have max level resources.

Emily is correct, 'scaled' zones are the only places you'll find the highest mats... Cyrodiil and DLCs. Loot drops, I'm wondering if, while the monsters are CP160 scaled, perhaps the CP160 loot doesn't drop until the final location of the alliance. Previously each of Cadwell's alliances went up one VR per zone, perhaps even though Cadwell's Gold monsters are scaled to CP160, the loot may not be until closer to the last zone.

Otherwise, another idea... what gear are you wearing, CP150 or CP160? Perhaps loot scales based upon player gear and not player CP.

Loot wise, you should be getting mostly C150 stuff, but *some* C160 items as well. I'm in the first zone of Gold and that's what I'm seeing happening (while the nodes are all silverweed and mahogany. :-P).

The sets will drop within their own level ranges, so if it's a set that drops in C160 (like the boss armor from dolmens) you will get it at that level.

Ruby nodes can be easily found in Cyrodiil if you have the right crafting level.

Even paid DLC zones not drop V16 gear, it's always v15..

Veteran Trials or Orisnium Daily drops V16...so why expecting v16 in easier gold zones.

Should be thankful for developers to made these Zones useful.. previously it only drops v10 garbage..

The worst part is that under-leveled CP140 sets still drop from Fully Scaled CP160 dungeons like Veteran City of Ash.

Nothing more disappointing than getting under-leveled set pieces in a dungeon where you are fighting CP160 Enemies.

I prefer getting v14 purple gear than v16 green

Locked treasure chests can range from 140-160CP and Dolmen Anchors can range from 150-160CP in Gold zones, mob drops are generally 140CP, but will rarely give 150-160CP.

    I don't. I can upgrade green v16 gear to purple. I can't upgrade V14 to anything useful.

While I don't think this is exactly true, there's some definite weirdness with the gold zones. While the enemies show as 160, their health is actually lower than 160 enemies in DLC zones.

    Cool, thanks for the info.

No CP160 mats unless you pay for content, i always enjoy game design decisions based on making money. Making the crafted sets need the 10X materials and limiting the availability on top of that is stupid. Especially with all new CP160 characters the patch created.

Further it seems that CP160 drops rarely in CP160 zones, unless it is trash loot quest rewards or certain bosses.

They have limited the usefulness of the older content without adding enough of the newer content to balance it. I thought they fired the idiots? Although it looks a lot like they planed it to make money, like the bank/bag upgrade, points reset, ect.

Sent my #8 cp160+ magplar into gold bleakrock and bal foyen to scoop some skyshards and chase down about 7 treasure maps i bought up before the Db drop.

Got cp160 purple jerkin of sjhadow dancer from trove.
Got cp150-160 briar/trini etc from the chests.
Got cp160 "rewards" from a couple quests i did bc they were "in the way so why not" like the folley in N bleakrock. Serynes sword was one, cp160.
got misc other cp150 loot from chests etc.
Most of the casual drops were cp140 which i use since i have two chars running writs.
of course, all the enchanter nodes scaled to my char/skill level. Bleak is thick with enchant stones... as bad as hews Bane south beach. Wish the other mats did as well. the way runes work now is perfect for the new progressions. need to do it with all mats in gold/silver IMO.

Obviously will decon a lot of it for mats.

But, yeah, no CP160 without paying for it. That is why they charge so much for bleakrock and bal foyen.

Well i meant mats as in crafting nodes. The mats that deconstructed items drop are nothing. 50-100 items to deconstruct to make 1 CP160 isn't useful.

    then i said

You need to keep doing it anyway for the traits, dropping CP140 is useless, it should drop CP150 at least, then it's not ideal but it's not as disappointing.

Does Maesltrom Arena drop CP160, 4 Arenas in and all i have got is CP150?

The monster helm at the end, the NECESSARY undaunted XP to level to undaunted 9, the undaunted shoulders. These are all level appropriate carrots.

Why is it the the gear the drops off of MINOR CP160 BOSSES, is underleveled? It's not a chance at underleveled gear, its underleveled EVERY TIME. How does this motivate anything?
