Sound problems

I keep losing sound while playing in Stros M'kai. Every time the background music ends it seems to take all sound with it. I did all the troubleshooting from the support site. Any other ideas? Thanks.

I have also seen, but not investigated, an issue with Nvidia having to do with the sound. I think it is resolved by turning off or disabling the Nvidia Sound (not sure why a video card has to process sound, but there you go) I have no idea if this works, as it was not a universal fix for the thread posters

And for those of you who need to use the 32-bit client and are running into the issue where sound is cutting out specifically with that client, we do have a fix for that going into next week's PC/Mac incremental patch. 2 -

probably because of sending sound via HMDI which is why that fix was useless for me, although the 64bit client appears to be working finally 0 -
