ZOS are you going to remove the hacker scores from the NA VMA leaderboards?

Hmm, sounds like naming and shaming to me. I mean, if they remove anyone from the leader boards, people will know who cheated, and it might hurt the cheater's feelings or they might be left out of activities by honest people. This cannot be allowed to happen.

Legitimate question that needs to be formally addressed. A number of these people who have cheated to get their place on the vMA leaderboards have openly admitted it at this point. If you can justify wiping the leaderboards for a Mundus exploit, you can justify it for illegal stat adjustments.

Let's at least keep the leaderboards clean. Those of us who are realistic and reasonable understand that eliminating this kind of activity isn't always easy to do, but wiping the boards is a necessary initial step.

If by legit, you mean unlimited overload, then yeah, totally legit. I am surprised any of the top players are still running this place with those scores present. When you ban an account, you should remove the scores that got you banned. So ridiculous they haven't done this already.

Bullpuckey! Not only is that statement a great big steaming and stinking pile of bullpuckey, but you know it is. So, is it you, or a "friend" that you're worried will get kicked off the leaderboard for being a cheater?

I'm... pretty sure this was a tongue-in-cheek comment.

(assuming your reply wasn't also a tongue-in-cheek comment...)

If it was, a little emoticon might have helped a lot. Sarcasm doesn't play well over the Interwebs unless it's an inside joke shared between the insiders who know it.

Sorry if I blew up if that was the case.

Most people know about ZoS' active stance against naming and shaming. Once you know their stance, the post is rather clear

Can we name and shame the leader of Germany from 1933 to 1945? Godwin requires that I do so.

Was anyone permabanned? If so, wouldn't their scores go away?

I never bothered with VMA but to my understanding, isn't getting the set rewards every min maxer "needs" to complete their build dependent on being on the week's leaderboard for a class?

If so, aren't the hackers getting the last laugh?

ZOS banned their accounts, but here they are, still preventing you from getting loot! XD

Items come from the weekly leaderboards, but bragging rights and the sense of progression come from the all time leaderboards which now have scores on them that are unobtainable without cheating, so I can see why people are upset. Not to mention those folks who got bumped off the weekly leaderboards that week and got the shaft.
