Hi, I recently returned from a long hiatus...
The last time I played was when VR14 was the max and the Imperial City DLC wasn't released yet. I've now come back and I have a few questions if some of you would be so kind to help.
1. I am VR14, where should I go now? I am a little overwhelmed by all the different options (Imp city, Orsinium, TG, DB?)
2. When I left everyone put their attribute points into health (it was the most efficient), is that still the case?
3. Also when I last played, the skills that benefited from Stamina were the weapon skills but not the class skills. Is that still true?

Welcome back, I hope your vr14 isn't a sorcerer.
First thing you should know,. there are no more veteran ranks, all that matters now are CPs, if you have 160 CPs (and you probably should have them) you are the equivalent of a VR16. Probably time to update all your gear.
1. Where to go now? Well, if you like questing Orsinium has lots of quests. If you like to steal, sneak around and raid TG is likely your cup of tea, if you want to kill NPCs go have fun with Blade of Woe in DB. Imperial City is for PvPing mostly and the dungeon there.
2. You only add points to health now for tanking. DPS and healers will put as many attribute points in Stamina or Magicka. If you have enough CPs for resistances running PvE with ~17K health is alright (with food), if you don't have enough CPs for resistances I'd recommend a few points in health, just enough for you to survive with a healers help.
3. No longer true. Every class now has at least a few passive that benefit stamina builds and a few skills that will scale from stamina.Edited by Grao on June 9, 2016 2:25AM0 -

Thanks for the response! If I go to Orsinium and already have 160 CP, will I still benefit?
And second, how can I tell what skills benefit from magicka and what skills benefit from stamina? I am a nightblade and it seems all my class skills use magicka.

NB skills with stamina morphs are-
Veiled strike- Surprise Attack
Teleport strike - Ambush
Power Extraction- Drain Power (might be the other way round)
Assassin's Will?- Assassin Scourge?
The Death Stroke ultimate now also does physical damage and scales with champion points.
