ZoS when will you fix this, it makes no sense.....someone throws caltrops in a hallway and if i am a floor above them i get snared and revealed......

If i am under them and they are a floor above me and throw it on their level i get snared and revealed.....

It even goes through walls.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom can you have them take a look into this please, it has been going on for a looooooooooong time lol

    Do other AoEs behave differently?

    To the best of my knowledge yes other aoe obey the los rule, caltrops is the only offender i ever see of this nonsense lol

    Caltrops going through walls is the best thing ever. :) The next time AD decide to hole up inside one of the DC resource towers they are going to feel it..

    Healing goes through walls too soo.. throw down the caltrops send your people into the tower and heal them though the wall whilst they deal with the yellow stain..

    Some healing goes through walls. BoL is suppose to follow line of sight rules now. So take this lesson to heart. *** enough and you can get things that bother you 'fixed', even when every other similar mechanic works the same way.

    So fight the good fight, down with caltrops!

    Wall of elements, destruction staff skill, goes vertically as well. Super annoying when you pull extra mobs. It's easiest to see in the IC Molag Bal room. In the lower tunnel leading to the big room itself, there's mobs on the platform on top of the tunnel. Dropping WoE in the tunnel will pull the mobs on the top.

    See i never had my wall of elements do that -_- i think maybe its time they take out these silly "unintended features"
