Craft bag - You really screwed the Pooch with this creation

I don't get what the OP wants to demonstrate with this post, but I want to smoke the same stuff, it seems to be an awesome one, honestly.

I destroyed tons of BoP equipment and materials formerly. The former I might have kept for testing and for special builds, but so I kept only "meta-stuff". Materials I might collect now for a few stacks and sell them. At last I can craft half a dozen or even a dozen stacks of pots for my PvE and raiding and not just one (!).

After the introduction of the crafting bag I still have 140 bank Slots of my 240 ocuppied just by gear and potions (and without having started to brew potions and poisons on a serious level). So I wonder why the OP has still so much room.

Conclusion: The OP does not represent the average Joe ESO MMO gamer, so ignore his opinion.

crafting bag broke certain parts of the game like saving up to buy bank spaces(OR CREATE A GUILD) which is obviously too hard for some people but then again that was the whole design. crafting bags dangerously brushes with "what else can we buy in the cash store that will make the game easier" when we weren't going to do that in the beginning of the idea of the cash store- EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO BE COSMETIC ONLY... AND NOT DESIGNED TO HELP YOU GET AHEAD IN THE GAME..

@TieFighter : Okay, I don't get this. Creating a guild, finding how many other people you trust to not clean out the bank and who have the empty guild space to join is supposed to be easy to do? One of my established guilds just got cleaned out a few days ago, by someone who had been a member for months. Right now only the guildmaster is allowed bank privileges because of it. "Obviously too hard for some people" is managing to be online when the one or two guild officers can get you stuff out of the guild bank.

How did the craft bags break saving up to buy bank space? Not everything you loot goes into the bag. I now have space in my *bank* to hold all the gear I have for my crafters to decon. I still need the bank space for motifs I've found that my crafters can't use yet. I need the bank space for recipes that my provisioners haven't learned yet. I STILL NEED THE BANK.

Besides allowing my crafters to get their hands on the decon items without bouncing mail off guildies or temporarily clearing space in my bank to swap items between characters, exactly how is that getting me ahead in the game? I still have to do the research on my crafters. I still have to do the pve/delves to get the gear. I still have to harvest materials.

Please tell me how I can use the crafting bag to get ahead in the game. Since I don't pvp, don't have a v16/cp160 character yet, am still saving up gold to buy more motifs my crafters don't know, and use my own gold to buy tempers and mats if I run short so I can craft for the 4 guilds I belong to so my characters are constantly broke, I would really like to know how to get ahead in the game.

You are an awesome Guild owner.I wish I was in your guild, really. I'd be our hunting mats for your guild. :)

Okay, case in point just to further my argument for a auto-store toggle. I Was helping a guildie craft a full set of Hundigs armor last night. He gave me all the mats he had and I was to fill in the rest out of my pocket that he would then reimburse me for. So the only way for me to know what he owes me would have been to write it down because as soon as I accept the attachments from mail, it goes straight to my bag. I am almost positive that I shortchanged myself 500g because I wrote everything down after the fact but that is a non-issue for me. Still the point remains. There is most definitely a need for an auto-store toggle. Likewise, if someone gave me more mats than I needed and asked for me to return the leftovers... then what?

And don't just look at this from one side of the equation, it doesn't matter if you are not a Guild Master, Guild Crafter, or Mat farmer, chances are that if you are NOT then you most certainly are a Guild Member, Player who pays for crafting, or a player asking for / buying mats. It still affects you.

ZOS, Jennifer, somebody can we get a response? This is going on 5 pages now, I really hope this gets your attention. Just an acknowledgement is all I am asking.

The bag should be limited but available just like bag upgrades in-game.
Honestly if ESO plus enhances it, that works but as is....it's apparent that this only helps one group and hurst the other because we all are seeking inventory management solutions.

I can't wait for the bag to drop on console. Only downside I see is I have an Alt with zero inventory I use to empty the guild bank, stack it and replace. Now it sounds like I won't be able to do that as it will all just go in bag. (I have my stock, and guild stock separate) any clever ideas around that then?

I'd love to turn it off for one toon

I'm in the middle of reinstalling the game and it seems like the crafting bag is just something to get used to. The benefits may be obscured by how it has changed people's playstyle.

is OP trolling us or does he really have that much of an entitled view of the world?
Seriously, how can you complain about NOT having to go to load screens to switch characters and then get to a bank and then have to figure out where to store everything? So you have to take a few seconds to remove something from the bag? How is this worse than switching characters constantly?

If crafting bags were the ONLY thing in this DLC, it would still be the best DLC since console release

I didn't think it was possible... that someone would actually complain about the infinite craft bag addition... but it happened...

Good Lord... this is single handily the greatest convenience item added to ESO and yet someone actually has the audacity to complain about it???

I can't help but wonder what the OP is like in real life...

Indeed it has been going on for 5 pages - 5 pages of people mainly saying how wonderful the bag is and what a great move it was to introduce it.

Incidentally, I am none of the things you describe, and your problem (which is easily solved by making a quick note of any shortfall in the mats being passed to you, as you acknowledge) simply doesn't apply to me.

I'm sure there will be refinements to the bag over time, but they are not remotely urgent. Users are massively impressed with it as it is. Kudos to ZOS for doing something very worthwhile yet entirely convenience-related for subscribers.

Single best non-content change since the game came out. Gives players TONS more inventory space, along with tons more mats in general as now you never have to offload stuff just to make room. Finally negates the need for mule characters for nearly all players. FInally there is something worth subbing for.

The absolute only way the crafting bag could be seen as bad is from the perspective of people trying to corner the market on tradeskill materials. Suddenly everyone has more materials because there's no reason to throw them out. Every other line of the OP is just complaining about kids these days having it easier, and how he had to walk uphill both ways in the snow...

craft bags are fine. they are fine as a sub itm. would it be nice to have a toggle? sure. is it needed as you can just open up your bag and take out what you want...... as to the uselessness of the banker assistant, still good for all the other things you do not want in your main bag. in order to screw the pooch they would have had to done something that ruined things.. this did not it is just not what you want exactly. silly topic is silly.
