On PC/EU, I did notice that the zone chat channel /jpzone was added to the list of chat channels, along with /dezone and /frzone. Apparently the game client does have Japanese language support now, as I could copy and paste random characters into chat, but couldn't type anything using Microsoft IME in chat. I was wondering what's up with that.

Uh.... I have character with an "ū" in his name. But nobody else could ever see that. It was always something like an x for them. So "Jinchūriki" was "Jinchxriki". Have to test of this is working now. o:)

So sad there would never be a CN megaserver.
But now I can confirm that game client supports UTF-8 characters since I see some kanji displayed correctly.
So is it possible to make an addon to partially and dynamically localize game interface with extra fonts?

Now when they have their own channel, I hope we won't see too much Japanese talking in their language on general chat, like some Germans and Frenchmen actually do :p .

Well, to be fair to the Germans and French, no one ever actually uses the English zone chat channel :D
