Bad look monster helmets

Hey guys! Today I was thinking to test Spawn of Mephala set. Also I was almost ready to craft my new Thieves guild armor when I just realised that it won't look that good with the Mephala helmet wich I don't like. At the moment I have an outlaw helmet with a kena pauldron (it fits perfect with my new senche and the rest of gear) but if I hide my helmet it also looks ugly since I'm a female vampire khajiit nightblade (vampire in stage 4 is bleah).
Any ideas for the helmet? The only one I see is cadwell's one...or maybe one of the polymorphs/costumes.
What helmets do you wear/costumes?

✭✭✭✭✭I recently had to outfit some new max level characters so there was a lot of "hand-me-downs" and pieces of whatever I had. They all look pretty terrible right now so they each have a costume they all wear full time. 2 crown store and one wears mannimarco.

Mephala's looks like a bdsm hood. Noice!
Engine Guardian and Kena are the only reasonable looking ones, IMO.
Skoria isn't bad as a set, I suppose.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭The new skeletal polymorph from DB is cool . You have to finish the litany of blood to get it . Also the reward costume for finishing DB story line works . Kajiit vampire is so bad looking to me , I would just use a costume to cover as much as I could .1 -

✭I have the Blood Spawn helm and Kena shoulder, but if RNG feels like cutting me a break I'd love to swap it. The Blood Spawn helm looks like you're wearing a paper-maché mask. Meanwhile the Kena helm looks... well, pretty gosh darned good.
For now I just hide my helmet. I wish we had the technology to alter how Argonian adornments look with headpieces because mine has the outward fins and in my head when she wears a helm the fins would be compressed and pointing downward. Like a dog going from alert ears to droopy ears.
If I feel like putting on a costume it's the Dragon Priest costume with no helmet (still doesn't look right on a reptilian head, but without the helm my character looks GREAT in it), the Shrouded Armor or Cadaverous Assassin because skeletons are neat.1 -

✭Yeah. They look fugly. Heck, the Malubeth helmet/shoulder is stupid af. But it's a MONSTER hat/shoulder. It's natural that it should resemble the look of the one it's named after, in this case the thing in WS I cant remember the name of! Yeah, they look horrible - and I'm a woman, trust me, outfit DOES matter
< But I don't want them to change the helmets/shoulders. Even though it's ugly - it's a part of the game, and it's a monster helm afterall.
Like the disguises that's named after various types of mobs. I don't think they should change it tbh. If it bugs you - use a costume or something to cover it up. Or use another shoulder/helm(It's not optimal, but no one is forcing you to use the ugliest of the ugly helmets)Ignorance is the greatest weapon of tyranny.

✭if you currently have an Outlaw helmet (crafted I assume) and you are all that bothered about which head piece you have on then try crafting the medium armour Trinimac style...looks pretty good
but like most of us do, it's either "hide helmet" or wear costume...at least if you wear a costume then you don't even have to bother farming a motif as you will never see the style of armour you are wearing0 -
