Sorc's pets health, armor, and spell resistance

Does anyone know how the sorcerer pets health, armor, and spell resistance are calculated? Is it a flat amount or does it scale with the sorcerer's abilities? Does it change depending on the pet and pet morph?

I've been looking around for information and can't find anything. Thanks for the help!

Their Health, Physical Resistance, and Spell Resistance appear to be based solely on your character's level and nothing else. A level 49 Breton and a level 49 Khajiit pets have the exact same stats. Their damage is purely based on your max Magicka, raising your stamina will not increased their damage not even the Clannfear. Champion points themselves passively raises their damage via putting in points in the Mage trees, but the passives like Hardy, Elemental Defender, or Elemental Expert does nothing for them as they count as separate individuals rather than your spells.

If you're curious how much Health they have at 160+ CP:

Volatile Familiar IV = 16,683 HP
Twilight Matriarch IV = 7,945 HP
Unstable Clannfear IV = 20,656 HP
Twilight Tormentor IV = 7,945 HP

I'm using Azurah's addon to obtain these numbers.

Good question. I think the Pets scale up with the character but I don't know if any individual stats drive this or it's just character level. If it's character level, is it something now capped at CP160, or does it go up to the CP Cap?

You can increase the defense of the Pets with something like Hardened Ward, but, beyond that, not much you can do to increase the Pet's Power.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I believe they do scale off of level too, but I'm curious if there is any way to tell how "strong" they are and if there is a way to make them stronger, like other skills.

Everything they have is a fix value that scales with your level, except the damage, which scales with your max Magicka only.

However, pets are heavily bugged at the moment and I am going to open a thread with Sorcerer bugs later today.
Pets health is currently much lower than it should be. Nothing of that was mentioned in the patchnotes, neither was it acknowledged as a bug.

The Twilight currently only has 7k health, while it should have 10k. The familiar only has 16k health, even though it should have 21k.

The wierd thing is, the volatile familiar is the only pet that has dmg that scales of cp, its pulse scales of thaumaturge, but no other pet gets cp benefits...its wierd.

Well explained. And damn, no wonder the Twilight dies if you stare at for too long. 8 K health is ridiculous...

On a small not, it seems CPs affect some of the pet's actives, such as the Matriarch Healing and the Volatile Familiar's AoE blast. (Though it is very true CPs do not affect the damage of their basic attack, thus rendering the Tormentor's ability also unaffected by CPs)

I think the only reason those two abilities are affected is that you are the one activating it and the pets act as a focal point like a mobile ground effect.

Possible... I think the idea that pets are not affected by out Storm Calling Passives and by our Champion points is completely *** so... Yeah...

My big frustration is sorcs are the only pet class with an entire tree dedicated to them, yet there is no way to make them stronger. It would be nice to be able to build a sorc around pets, especially considering you need to slot them on both bars just to maintain them in a fight...

    Thanks for all the input.
