How are players getting into opposing faction towers while it is still held by the other faction? Seen it at Keeps as well this last week or so....I checked the tower for stealth before I went upstairs. As soon as the other faction showed up, two guys were inside and whacked me

I am hearing in game that Ambush, and 2h charge when used on a guard inside, pulls the player inside. Let's just leave the friggin doors off.

It was a bug introduced with the change they made to "gap closers" (Anything that shoots you toward a target. Ambush, Critical Rush, etc). In the previous updates, these gap closers were being very buggy. Most of the time, they wouldn't work at all. You'd press the button and start the animation, but nothing. Just stood in place. So, from what I can tell, they've changed all gap closers to basically work like the Dragonknight "chains" ability to "pull" you to your target. Problem is, DK chains have long since been used as a way to exploit your way into a keep by chaining onto someone or something at the right angle while they were on the wall. So, instead of this exploit being available to just DKs at ease, now anybody can do it with any "gap closer". It was like this and reported on the PTS and yet, it still made it into live.

im not sure if its intended or not atm for nbs to just ambush to mage guards on the wall but it might not be unintended. Gonna wait for an official response on it

Isn't there an area debuff used in Imperial City called Chain Pull Suppression? Could they use this on resource towers and keep walls to prevent it from happening?

I'm betting that wouldn't be too hard to implement. "If outer wall section => Broken%, protection = true". Same for inner wall, the radius of the protection would just be now eliminated on the courtyards.

This was not intended. They released the fix for NBs in this mornings patch.

    From Patch notes

    Nightblade
    Assassination
Teleport Strike: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs could be used to get on top of Keep walls.

Now the other classes with the same gap closer exploit need to be fixed.
Crispen Longbow - Daggerfall Covenant (DC): NB - Rank:50 (NA/PC) - RIP (Blue VE, Khole, LoM, MO)
Crispen Longboww - Aldmeri Dominion (AD): NB - Rank:50 (NA/PC) - Crispen's House of Pain RIP (KP, Yellow VE, Omni)
    Crispen Longbow-EP - Ebonheart Pact (EP): NB - Rank:50 (NA/PC) - RIP (Red VE)
