I sent zenimax (Chet) a ticket about 2 days ago explaining how my mementos were not working. I got the default email response, but responded to it SEVERAL times now. Still despite my patience nobody has responded back to let me know if my bug is being addressed. I've tried to file another ticket but cannot through the edlerscrollsonline website, I even used a different webbrowser and changed my password but I get an Authentication Error no matter what (the site is broken).

Despite that, this specific issue which has been ignored and dismissed, I've made two threads for, one of which had a community manager respond to but he was of no help.

Since Chet at zenimax cannot help me, I'm HOPING with this thread I can get some *** attention to my problem and have it addressed. I worked very hard for the mementos I have, and my main character who I've had since launch is now bugged and unable to use mementos no matter what, all my other characters are able to. I've troubleshooted this and confirmed it's just my first main character who is bugged.

I'm going to go IN GAME to file another report now since it's been 2 days with no response to my email. Zenimax never had this kind of lack of support before, I want my mementos fixed and I want them fixed now.

    Are you able to use them from a quick slot? And are you trying to use the wand of finding one,because that one doesn't do anything.

    First response to a support ticket is always automated and entirely unhelpful. It's also the weekend so I wouldn't expect an actual reply until tomorrow at the earliest.

    I believe I had the same issue you had, in my case I couldn't eat the ESO 2 year anniversary exp cake. What I had to do is let myself die to an enemy npc and that somehow reset me, but that was for me to interact with the cake are you having problems slotting it? or activating your mementos?

    I don't remember if I rezzed up with a soul gem or if I wayshrined, if it's not to inconvenient could you try both? Maybe zenimax will fix this one day...

    The reason why CS does not always respond quickly to these emergencies is because some people shower them with reports for completely irrelevant issues that have zero priority.

    But just to be safe they should take down the servers so it doesn't cause anymore grief and breaks the entire in-game economy.

    Well to be fair, they were not interested enough to fix the dungeon finder before they ran off for the weekend, I can't imagine they care to much about mementos.

    I understand and agree, but ZOS has always been ontop of their support team. It was just frustrating not getting a response on my first ticket.

    Luckily they have acknowledged this problem, and for anyone else who has the same bug but didn't care enough to report it, they're moving my issue up priority list and it should get resolved.

    How is this a game breaking bug? Honestly they are very slow to respond on the weekend. It took them a good while to make a statement about all the cheating in cyrodil last weekend.

    To elaborate and clarify this, anything that impairs the functionality of the game, especially when it comes to achievements or unlocks (basically anything required to beat the game 100% or play all of the content), is a literal game breaking bug. I don't know what context you're trying to argue it's not a game breaking bug in, but even under the notion a game breaking bug is only something that impairs completion of the game or functionality of playing the game you are still wrong because under that context it's still a game breaking bug. There is no way you can argue it's not, this thread was simply to get attention to this issue. Now that it has gotten that attention, I do not wish it to be continued any further. Thank you.

    Not true, they work all the time. The only don't work in PVP. If your mementos have stopped working go on a different character and they will work.

    the issue has been acknowledged and we're hoping for a fix. I'm not the only person who has this bug so you might too.

    The game has much bigger issues that need fixed. And although I will not relieve ZOS of the blame for any of the game's many deficiencies, making mountains out of mole hills will certainly not help get bigger issues fixed in a timely manner.

    I get it that you want mementos fixed and like to play with your toys. None-the-less, all mementos could be removed from game tomorrow and it would not, in any way what-so-ever, change the play of the game.

    Keep arguing semantics and you are "quite literally, by definition" a (cannot finish sentence without negative action being taken against my account).

    Also by creating a second ticket, I was able to get help much faster. This thread it's self had nothing to do with the issue aside from the fact the first person was dismissing my ticket as trash which it was not. Thankfully someone took notice of it and addressed it. This thread at this point is garbage, but it has absolutely 0 reflection of the amount of time zenimax will take, this is a programming issue not a social issue.

    Glad you finally got aware of that, now next time please use the ingame /bug command or just open a ticket instead of bugging people on forums with your "gamebreaking" issues.

    Look, you made a public post. Yes, it may be a bug, and all bugs should be brought to the dev's attention. However, I and several others disagree with your assessment of what is 'game breaking' and believe you to be exaggerating the issue and making a mountain out of a mole hill. Sending me PMs...

    As a tech support at another company, when I see a ticket that has something similar to " I want my mementos fixed and I want them fixed now." I just ignore it and place it with the lowest priority possible. People you need to understand that bad attitude will be rewarded with longer resolution times. This is not a company policy but I know that most tech support agents form most companies handle things this way.

    My best guess is that the tech supports on shift have not responded because there are no system administrators and developers available during the weekend (although all of them are required to work over the weekend in case of an emergency). I guess that their Managers do not count all those bugs that appeared since the release as critical enough to get the dev's to work on the weekend.

    SO just be patient, they will most definitely give a statement on Monday.

    Maybe you have unreasonable expectations of Zos. An issue with something that doesn't effect many people and does not hinder game-play or create an exploit is going to be low priority. I can sympathize with you in some ways but you, kid, need to take a deep breath, and realize that you need to stand in line with the other ticket submitters.

    Didn't even read the OP did you? I made two threads, made this two days after making a ticket. Wasn't until 2 days after I made a second ticket it got addressed.

    Not game breaking because they do nothing for gameplay.They are just there.The cake doesnt even do anything but rez.So,I cant think why this would make your game broken,meaning unplayable.Odd.
