Hello,
I know there a lot of discussions about slow download speeds, but they are all from 2014-2015. I was wondering if anyone had a solution for 2016? Ive been on 1% for two hours now and i'm getting pretty annoyed. I bought the disc and just assumed i would either be able to download twice as fast or skip the wifi download.. how naive right? Why did i even buy the disc >.< !

✭✭Buying a physical copy of the game does not mean no downloads. You'll be downloading all updates,dlc patches, hot fixes etc.
What you could do is run a repair from the desktop shortcut (under game options).Your immersion is breaking my entitlement. Buff Sorc's. Roughly 30 hours in and I am at 14% (<1-4 MB/s) ...
I remember it taking about 19 hours when I first began playing in 2014, but this is a bit insane ... my speed test are normal at 56 MB/s Download ... advice?0 -

Llilium✭✭✭I have a 180 mbps connection and ESO downloads at less than 14mbps and as of recently, sometimes 22mbps. pisses me right off, mate. i don't know if ZOS caps off your DL speed or if their network and servers are just absolute garbage (which could lead to why theres such trash lag in cyro).
before anyone decides to get the idea that i'm not getting my full speed, i literally downloaded ALL of GTA5 in like 20 minutes not even an hour before patching this last patch. took me 30 minutes to DL and install a 50 gig game, yet took hours for a damn 700 mb or whatever patch in ESO.0
