Maintenance for the week of March 30:
• [COMPLETE] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 1, 1:00PM EDT (17:00 UTC) - 5:00PM EDT (21:00 UTC)
I don't do crime. Last time I got a bounty was by accident and then I almost got wrecked by a Guard. I quickly paid the bounty off and never strayed from the path since.
Apparently, you get an achievement for committing crimes. Crimes pay, I think that is what the achievement is called. Well, if you're looting, it does pay well cause you getting items from 100 to1500 gold or more when you sell to the fence.
I got the Black Market Mogul achievement on my main, which requires you to fence goods worth 1 million gold. Since then I've fenced much more on several characters. I rarely get caught, and when I do I make a run for it. I did pay 100k to the fence to get another achievement for clearing bounty, but in the end I'd say my profit margin from thievery should be over 90%.
I net about 15-20k gold each time I max out my 140 selling slots. Takes about 1-2 hours, depending on how fast I'm trying to go. So, it's a fun way to bring in a little coin.
Just don't get caught that often. And when you do, go on a fishing trip until the bounty goes away.
I made some decent picket change selling the liberated possessions of my assassination targets.
I'm very surprised anyone pays bounty. Guards are easy to run away from, and thieves guild passives help the bounty go away rather quickly. Seriously I've never had to pay a bounty off. Coldharbour lets you train riding and other such things as well as the outlaw refuges.
