So am I right to assume that with eight purple peces of training armor on (each increasing exp gained from kills by 10%) I will have an exp gain of 80% extra when grinding CP (say, in CWC)? Does this stack with the 50% exp from Psijic Ambrosia? If so, *** yeah, let's do this

I made myself a new armor on lvl46 with 7 pcs. purple quality, each 10% training, and I got literally 70% extra xp from kills (calculated).
Levelling by grinding is now very fast and cheap, almost like with this jubilae cake :D .
Ambrosia is not needed, since it has a time restriction and is very expensive per time.
The prices for ambrosia could drop now.

The grinding part is boring and give pretty nothing, so IMO that's not a problem. The overall difficulty is a problem, not this trait. And more, new player don't use it a lot for the 1-50 grind, only the reroll and the 501 cp grinding use them.

You could make a set of xp gear, including weapons so you could have 9 piece xp gear and a set of adventure gear. Wear the adventure while doing the quest, then swap to xp gear for turn in. The xp gear could be level 10 and never need to be upgraded to a higher level, since it is only used for quest turn in.

Training applies to KILLS made not quest turn ins.

^THIS! The new Training trait only applies to enemy kills, but even so, I think it is still much much better than ONLY applying to a specific skill line. This Training trait change was definitely a boon to grinders.

Is it a big nerf to levelling weapon skill lines?

Hopefully not, otherwise you won't have skull lines you need maxed out before you even hit 50.

It's a huge nerf to that. Levelling weapon skill lines will take 2 times as long, no exaggeration

Game is like it was, only grinding is now less boring, cheaper, more effective and interesting.
I'm glad that developers finally gave the players an option either to grind fast to upper levels or go questing.
Imho it should be the players' choice and now it is.
    Thank you ZOS!

Not really, full training legendary gear pushes XP bonus beyond 2x. So by grinding you will also level weapon levels pretty fast.

But are you really going to make gold training gear?

    Normal - 54%
    Uncommon - 62%
    Superior - 70%
    Epic - 78%
    Legendary - 86%

It is a great way to catch up on weapon skills, Public Dungeons are your best friend with packs of 4-7 all neatly piled together.

Purple is pretty good as well and using 140cp instead of 160cp would around 20k agree prices settle a bit and give like 1.82x bonus.

Running full purple training on all armor slots and weapons along with ambrosia seems to be pretty close to as good as cake was.

True, that was probably an overstatement. In my particular case, I roll only Blackwater Blade characters so it's a nerf to leveling weapon skill lines without leveling the toon

I agree this is great for making alts and even for cp grinding. Stick on some cp140 gear with training everywhere nice and cheap and hit the mobs. No need to make cp160 gear for that.
