Can we have a "good guy" guild in the future?

After betraying all moral values of my character with the thieves guild and now dark brotherhood, i would love to see a good guild like the companions or dawnguard from skyrim.
Maybe some imperial order, followers of stendarr or even something like the knights of the nine ( well eight, tiber septim is coming in 200 years in eso timeline )
Hell, even those knights of the hour are fine after some reforms.

A bard guild would be fine too. Saving tamriel with the power of music.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

With such a talented team who does the soundtrack in ESO, this would really be fun - I think they could make a collection of songs and instruments, which would be great - bard college sounds good to me too.

I would love a bards guild DLC (and bard skilline, including many buffs, summons and debuffs, as well as new lute/drum/flute animations and songs).

I would love a free content update which 'continues' the fighters and mages guild, giving them repetative and daily quests and helping balance them to the scale of the thieves and dark brotherhood.
Ruze Aulus. Mayor of Dhalmora. Archer, hunter, assassin. Nightblade.
Gral. Mountain Terror. Barbarian, marauder, murderer. Nightblade.
Na'Djin. Knight-Blade. Knight, vanguard, defender. Nightblade.

    XBOX NA
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

I don't think he is complaining - and as long as it makes someone think about such things, this is a good sign and in this case the game even had a positive effect on real life. Thinking about moral values and how fast those could get out of the window, if someone is not carefully considering his/her deeds, is a good thing. It is better, than just accepting it without any thought.

They cannot have end game relevance, because fighter guild and mage guild are neutral in the alliance war. They state that clearly from the very beginning, when you join those guilds.

But let's wait and see - maybe we will get Vardenfell in a DLC and with it possibly the 3 Houses to be joined - Hlaalu (which run already the banks in EP), Redoran and Telvani. This would be 3 "guilds" with a very different agenda each. Ok, these would as well not be good guy's guilds - because they have all "their ways" to do things - like House Hlaalu does mafia like business. They intimidate, destroy possessions and property and take lives, if they deem this necessary to run their business.

Vardenfell would offer some other "guilds" like the Temple - a religious guild - or the Morag Tong, basically similar to the DB, just that they do officially accepted assassinations - not unlike it was done in the past on earth, where bounty hunters could bring in criminals dead or alive and it would not be considered murder to do the kill. Just that in the case of the Morag Tong, it would be just "dead" as the only option. Even, when I think about it, we have already a bounty system in the game, there are posts, where you can get bounty hunt orders.

Yeah, two DLC's seem to be suitable for only one character archetype (the sneaky thief-assassin). It just seems weird to send a fully armored tank type through TG or sending a Healer through Assassin's school.

The 4 iconic guilds (Mages, Fighters, Thieves, DB) are the way they always are.

You already had Fighters and Mages in base game. I wouldn't expect any new guilds any time soon.

I have a different point of view on it. The game play is fun. It is the content they are releasing, and I want to play it with my main. Perhaps it is a little bit of moral gymnastics, but my point of view is that on a heroic character, when he's doing the DB/TG story he is performing more of a Meridia-Vision of 'what would have happened' or at the least 'what could have happened'. This may not have been the intend of the developers, but from a gameplay perspective and if you pay attention to the story it makes things feel right (in both directions really).

On the other side of the coin, I do agree that it would be nice to see a more heroic faction to join. Fighters Guild is alright, but they are little better than Mercenaries and Bodyguards for hire. The mages guild is perfectly happy enslaving souls to gems for eternity (or at least til they burn them out on some cheap magic trick) of all kinds of creatures, some of them sentient though perhaps alien to them. When it comes from a moral perspective it would be nice to join something a little more heroic in mentality like the Dawnguard, the Imperial Legion, House Redoran, etc. It would be nice to have the option to be part of a knightly order where the character fights for something because they believe in it, and not for the cheap thrills, power or cash. I understand the sentiment, even as I think its all been entertaining so far.

This is another interesting idea. Although I do think having some Knightly Orders, or even some mutually exclusive groups to join might be fun in the future.

I would rather them give us an alteritive guild option to join. Instead of like the dark brotherhood we could have sided with the order of akatosh in kvatch. Different quests but the same outcome at the end. The dark brotherhood succeeds. So in essence instead of joining the winning team we could experience the side of the losing team. It would be interesting. They do need to do this in the future, add the second option. I liked the fact they added us to side with the dawnguard or vampires in elder scrolls five dawngaurd dlc. It did not matter what you sided with the outcome was the same, and that is something they could do.

I would next like to see an expansion like dawnguard. With a new skill line only we be fighting against all kinds of monsters. I do want to see them add random encounters so you can be randomly attacked on the roads.

They could add vampire covens and werewolf packs we could join. Or we could side with an order of Vampire Hunters/Werewolf Hunters.
This would be an interesting concept and I think it would be a good thing for the player base to have options. I would like to see some new things, like more lycanthropy strains like werebear, wereboar, wereshark, werecrocadle, werebat and werelion, as well as even a wereskeever. Adding these would bring more flavor to the game, it would bring in more players.

I would like the following since it reuses all of tsmriel and allows for easily repeatable content. Can easily work into any lore.

Wardens of "St.Chris" (insert any Tamriel Appropriate traveller protection name)
Devoted to kerping highways and byways safe for trade and travel and cultural contact.
Tries to be neutral since corrupt local officials can be as bad as bandits, hungry ogre posse, cultists seeking virgins for weekend "rituals" or fiance trying to free love from disapproving parents/slaver/custodians relocating in a hurry.

In addition to its own story quests, repeatables could take form of:
Meet so-n-so at wayshrine x, escort to y along road and deal with problem z. Then eith leave for short mission or stay for longer, tougher leg and greater rewards.

But add a widely varied table of x, y and z and you have a massive number of unique missions on that loop spread all over the place. Challenge could even be non-violent sometimes, like getting local help to shore up bridge too shakey for the big wsgon load. heck could even have missions where the escortee is the bad guy and eventually turning on you.

Seems a content model easy to expand, re-using a lot of existing elements with lotsa potential.
