Cloak Doesn't Seem to Work Anymore.

I dunno if anyone has already posted about this, I searched the forums but couldn't find anything but please don't kill me if it has.

Everyone is gonna hate me for this and probably reply with 'Good, L2P a not OP Nooblade Class' but this is something that is really annoying and I quite enjoy playing my Nightblade because they are fun

In PvP, cloak doesn't work anymore if you are in the middle of a fight, or at least, it works for 0.2 seconds then you get immediately pulled out by an attack that was on it's way to you before you cloaked. I believe cloak used to have the exact issue a yearish ago where, if any attacks were on there way to you (Where in PvP, attacks are on there way to you non stop) and you cloak, the attack will hit you after you cloak, damaging you and therefor puling you out of cloak, it's the same with invisibility potions.

I can confirm that this is not Magelight, or Expert Hunter as players I have been fighting against clearly did not have either ability active at any point in the numerous fights. In addition I believe SypherPK Was also having issues with this on his stream the other day.

So, despite how many people will be happy to see it not work I think it would be nice to be fixed./

This is happening to me most notably with Uppercut (and morphs) from the 2 handed skill line. Gap closer's are also a big offender here.

Once in awhile damage over time effect's also take me out of cloak as well. I will take a tick of damage instead of suppressing it with cloak like it is suppose to. This one is probably lag most likely.

I honestly don't PVE that much myself, I only noticed it after DB came out and my vr1 NB went to cp465 haha. Threw some gold gear on him and ran around in IC capturing the districts, and I noticed quite a few mobs were very unphased by my cloak, aka, I would have to use it 10-15 times in a row while sprinting away to get them to deaggro.

I also had a friend tagging along with me, he was also cloaking around 2 AD players we saw that we decided we wouldn't mess with. They never got closer than 15 feet away from him, turned around and shot him with bows while he was cloaked. No magelight or anything on either of the AD players, started making me wonder how things were seeing us while we were spamming cloak.

Same here. Was playing with a NB friend and he noticed it as well as I did on my NB. Game is showing you as cloaked, but you're fully attacked by everything and everyone as if you would be taking an open stroll in the landscape. Also dot is not being suppressed anymore while under cloak, at least not every time. Died due to oil-dot while cloaking which shouldn't be possible.

Unfortunately, cloak is also the only "semi-purge" ability available for non-magica NBs. While magica builds can use purge to remove dots, stam builds have nothing left than this wobbly cloak which - while not removing any dots - at least cancels the damage while active. In theory.

Ive been watching a well known streamer (yesterday), and he was getting mad over exactly that issue, cloak didnt work and he kept raging due to That.

Not a nightblade here, but still

This was fine on PTS when I tested it, but seems to be bugged on Live again...

I'll do some testing today/tomorrow & provide an update here.

You get pulled out of cloak way too often and too easy, without anyone actually trying to reveal you, it just bugs out.

I've encountered the same issue and imho is poison related, cloak works if you fight noobs even if you are outnumbered, but with skilled players that use poison no.
I've seen the difference because when you cannot cloak you are affect by the poison (Green aura).

As a Nightblade main myself I've been noticing this the past two days as well. I can be well out of range of enemies and cloak only to have an already inbound Crushing Shock or Poison Injection still hit me while in cloak and pull me out.

Seems like the same exact issue we had before the TG patch fix. Hope they do something to fix this as cloak is already damn near useless.

it's also on bleed dmg, at least that's what I have encountered in PVE from Human enemies

Yep, my magblade is struggling in 1 vs X fights now because the cloak seems to work only when it wants to, which was not the case prior to the update. Luckily, if that fails I can now shield stack harness and healing ward... Yay!...
